The Channon Cafe

Kathy made us feel right at home. Coffee, iced chocolate, cakes were all wonderful. The baked cheesecake...oh my gosh...to die for. We had our 2 younger boys with us and Kathy made them gorgeous milkshakes with real fruit. Was so cosy and homely. We will bring all our friends here in future. And having the art gallery there too was an added bonus.

It's always lovely to be passing by when this cafe is open. The pie pastry was light, and the filling delicious, which left lots of room for the amazing cake. Sitting in the garden is peaceful and the service has a local friendliness.

Some cafes I want to keep a secret, but I want everyone to know about this so we can have it open more often.

Really great coffee. Such a great vibe to this place. Beautiful artwork. Nice sitting by the fire browsing the magazines they have. They even had some kids books which the kids enjoyed while sipping their babycinos. Lovely staff aswell.

Really fantastic lunch in a very relaxing outdoor setting. One of the best toasties I’ve ever had. Coffee was good, which is always a huge plus. Friendly service, good food. Highly recommend.

Wonderful offerings for afternoon tea made from locally sourced produce. Quaint beautifully postioned gallery. What a shame im not a local. Great coffee.

Friendly owner offering delicious cakes and lunches in a fabulous quirky but comfortable atmosphere. Lovely garden to sit out in if you prefer.
