I loved this camp ground. Such a beautiful place with a great vibe. The other people there was so nice as well. We had a great view of the water and the bush. I would suggest bringing your own toilet or going in a while as the smell at the toilet there was unbearable doe me but you’re in the bush so you can’t really expect much more in regards to toilet wise.

We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to fish but hopefully we can return at some point. Lots of space to set your own fire. We roasted marshmallows after dinner. Dinner was easy to cook with the convenience of a picnic table for us to put our portable stove on.

The view is great and would definitely recommend going! Take a nice book or something to read while watching the fire there is no reception most of the time so it’s a great way to get back to nature!

Great campground with a boatvramp to launch directly on the Karuah River. Great swimming but water shoes are recommended as it is tidal and there are oysters around. Camping by the river is great but there is a larger higher up camping area where the long drop toilet is located. At Head and brim are plentiful on the river for those that know where to fish.

This is one of the best campground I have ever been. Easy to reach there, and you can camp by the river. Kids will love this place as you can swim and climb trees.
While we were there we spot many fishes also take your fishing rod.

Great place to Camp, it's free, has the basics, is great for kids and boating! Just be prepared for mosquito's and possible rain! Otherwise its a great place, amazing view and not far from most main centres

Wonderful tranquil area, little bit populated when I visited however we found a nice spot. The river can bring a lot of bugs, but with bug spray it's no issue at all. Plenty of firewood, no litter, will camp there again

Great free campground with toilet. 4x4. Camping must now be done at the top of the hill near toilets with lower area now being only for Day use.

Beautiful place, spoke with the Ranger today and really impressed by their manner. So much respect for this guy I wish I asked for his name. Make sure to do the right thing and keep this place beautiful people.

Great location, somewhat isolated, beautiful sunrises.
Accessibility can be tricky and tides unpredictable for lower ground campers.
