Garden of Roses Cafe

Being honest, it's not the best steak sandwich that I've ever had, but it's excellent value in a cool old cafe with friendly service. Come for the ambience and stay for the food.
Locals all come here, so that's a good indication of how good it is.
The owner is keen to restore the interior so the more business she gets, the sooner she can do this.

Had breakfast here, bacon and eggs, I've had scrambled eggs and tomato. Both great, coffee was good also. A real country Cafe.

Stopped in while travelling north. Quaint old school style cafe. I havent had a burger with the lot, that good, for a long time.

Best burger with the lot. Haven’t had one like that for many years. The bacon & egg roll was awesome as well. Reasonably priced and made quick. Will be back for sure!

Dropped in for a sandwich travelling through town. I didn’t have high expectations but it was the only cafe open. To our surprise. They were the best , fullest sandwiches we have had in years. They were really really good. Highly recommend.

A real vintage milk bar/cafe complete with magnificent stained glass and ornate ceiling The menu has all the favourites and the coffee is good Servings are generous and the prices are low The service is fast and friendly Great for families and for those who want a little blast from the past with good value for money

Rustic and worn out diner, perfect for Canowindra, outside toilets and no eftpost😎 The pictures from about 1914th tells you, not much have changed only the cars. Great tasting ham and cheese sandwich. Hawk

Awesome food Great service great staff,and it's a great spot to relax when eating in,nice and open on the inside not all cramped and on top of each other like other shop's are,I highly recommend this place always go here when I'm in town.
