My hair was so dry and grown out from living in the bush for 6 months, came here and had a 3/4 head highlights and cut. Best I’ve ever had. Lana did my hair so well it’s never felt or looked better. Such a transformation, in a lovely warm and welcoming salon. I would recommend to anyone.

I contacted Madame Josephine's after seeing fabulous reviews on Google and Facebook... I wanted to go from Deep Violet, both boxed and salon coloured, to a light colour that could hide my greys better...
I was not disappointed! George was a spry older gent, with the manners and grace of people that don't seem to exist anymore...
And the lovely Tam... What a gift she has! She transformed my hair over an entire day, explaining each step as she went, with humour and wit! I chatted and laughed with Tam, Lana and George, their sweet apprentice Jasmine and other clientele that popped in and out all day...
It wasn't just a transformation of my hair, their gorgeous personalities lifted my mood too, and all at a great price, considering everything my fine hair needed to survive the transformation...
I wish I wasn't visiting from Sydney and was living in beautiful Adelaide, just so I could keep coming to visit these guys, to do my hair and to just say hi...
Tam also gave me all the info I needed to upkeep my hair in the future and said I could call her anytime for tips...

it was so amazing, everyone was nice, they answered all my questions, it was so refreshing and relaxing, i have had a bad run with hair salons so i hadn’t cut my hair in months bc i was so scared to get another bad haircut, but am here to say i will be going back every time i need a haircut, my head was full of spilt ends and i left with not a single one in my hair, they did my hair absolutely amazing i am very happy with the results, my head was full of spilt ends and i left with not a single one in my hair and i will be only going to this salon from now on, absolutely recommend 11/10.

Their barber, George, with an astounding 62 years of experience, provided a level of service unparalleled by any other parlour I've visited.

From expert grooming advice to shaping my brows and washing my hair both before and after the cut, the entire experience was top-notch. And to top it all off, it was all for an unbeatable price of just $52!

I wholeheartedly recommend their services. Truly a cut above the rest!

I’m from Europe (Belgium) travelling around and needed an update of my grey hair.
Searched on Google for a haïr dresser to fix that, called to George and the day after had already an appointment.

I just saw the reviews of the parlour and went ahead for a quoate.Tam the hair specialist listened to me and suggested me the colour of highlights which could go with my complexion and the quote she gave me was very reasonable.I made an appointment and went today for my highlights.They welcomed me with such positivity and Tam did her work with such perfection that i was very impressed and the result i got was super amazing.Thanks to all the staff and especially Tam....people are already asking me that from where i had my hair colour mean highlights done so thank you to all the team.I am definetly gonna come back again....

I can’t recommend George and his amazing team. They were our glam squad for a gala dinner. From booking our appointment till the end they were lovely and very customer focused. The products used were not heavy or sticky we felt and looked fresh all night.

It was wonderful to come back to Madame Josephine after 7 years..
I tried my latest hairdresser to explain my wishes for my haircut but I wasn't able to convince him so I got more and more disappointed.. For a woman the satisfaction of her haircut is very important

I came into Madam Josephine’s as a walk in for a trim and the service and atmosphere was nothing short of amazing.

George the owner is amazingly talented, and a debonair gentleman. I walked away feeling refreshed and incredible.

It is a shame they are not my own regular salon as I am a tourist
