What a great little family owned restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and very happy to accommodate all requests on the night. Food was fantastic fresh and very tender packed full of flavour with ample serving per dish. Price was great and affordable.
We would recommend you try this gem of a restaurant and we will definitely be back soon.

This place is awesome, the staff are fantastic people. Been eating here for years and never had a 'dud' meal. Their Honey Chicken is To Die For, the best. Also their Mongolian Beef Steak is the best around.

They are still there, thank Goddess. The meals, staff and atmosphere is awesome.
The business is still up for sale, but we will continue to eat there as long as we can.

Visited our favourite restaurant again, had crispy beef, special fried rice and honey chicken, always so yummy. The owners have put their restaurant back on the market, so this place is up for sale again. Again, we'll still be eating here until we can't anymore.

The decor is pretty much as you would expect, but it's clean, neat and tidy.
The service was attentive and very polite.
We had one of the banquets. We were impressed following the soup and entrees to be asked if we would like a break before the mains came out. Sometimes in similar genre restaurants, banquets can be served far too quickly.
We (two of us) had the $33.00/ person banquet. There was plenty of food and it was generally very good. In fact, despite being pretty peckish when we arrived, we couldn't eat all the food.
We were asked if we would like a container to take the leftover food home, we didn't even have to ask for one.
It's also BYO bottled wine if you wish at a very fair $8.00 per bottle.
Did we love it ? Yes.
Will we go back ? Yes.

Such beautiful service and delicious meals in a traditional style Chinese restaurant. Small but lovely choices on the wine list. We enjoyed the full bodied cab sav from McLaren vale. Worth the short drive out of the city.

We have been dining at the Lotus for many many years and both of our sons had their 21st's at the restaurant. We have never been disappointed or left feeling hungry and the service is fantastic. Last night we had dinner there with our family to celebrate my birthday. Thank you Eric, Wendy and Tracy for make my night truly wonderful and memorable. Christian and Oscar said that next time they come for a sleep over they want to go to Wendy's!!

We had a family banquet for 5 with amazing food. Staff were friendly and made our dining experience fantastic. Will definitely be back

It was the perfect place for a birthday banquet. We were made to feel very special by the owner, who personally delivered our desserts complete with a candle and a song. Wendy was wonderful, and I look forward to dining there again next time I'm in Adelaide.
The garlic prawns, lemon chicken, and sizzling Szechuan beef, plus a generous amount of fried rice, were just amazing.

The service was great, The meal was fantastic , big meals ,Great prices , large range of alcohol and non alcohol drinks, you can share your meal or eat it all yourself, $138 for 4 large meals plus drinks , I would highly recommend Lotus Chinese Restaurant if your on Melbourne street Adelaide, Its a great place to catch up with friends and family for a great meal . A big thankyou for a great meal .

Nice Chinese restaurant but more on the pricy side and small servings with to much sauce for my taste but fried ice cream was next level yum and the device was also the best

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Even better than most of my other favourite Chinese restaurants. The satay chicken is the best I’ve had in a very long time. Opening hours are 12 to 2.30 for lunch and 5 pm for dinner. No clear closing time, presumably closing time depends on the number of customers.

Best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. Delicious. Just need to improve the customer service skills of the lady who answered the phone tonight.

My wife and I had a delightful lunch with delicious food and the most friendly service by Wendy. She made us feel right at home. We will most certainly be back!

The atmosphere was fantastic, The service was exceptional and the food was the absolute best we have ever had in any Chinese restaurant .(and we have been to quite a few).
