Brougham Gardens (Park 29)

This weekend, I rode my bike around the city. Brougham Gardens is quite an ideal stop. I sat under the shade seeing the traffic go by, watching the birds search for food on the green grass and looking at the roses sway in the wind.
Time seemed to freeze at the moment of harmony between my soul and Mother Nature.
Love it!

Park 29. Brougham Park. Tantutingga. Quaint, green and there were rosellas (see videos)!!! Each bench seat has a plaque. Quite the spot to sit and enjoy the jacarandas in falling bloom. Or rest up as I did because I ate wayyyyy too much up at the Bakery on O'Connell (it's easy to do). Really enjoyable park.

A lovely large grassed area just above the Women's and Children's Hospital. There are many bench style seating available and lots of large trees to sit under.
It's quite steep in some areas and bitumen pathways throughout.
Lovely garden beds are well maintained. A peaceful place even with the noise of the traffic.

There's a very friendly flock of Ibes that congregate there during the day. Watch out for Noisy Miners though.

Lovely peaceful park. Lots of benches and flowerbeds. Very well looked after by the gardeners.

auf dem Weg von North Adelaide ins Zentrum der Stadt, bin ich hier einmal durch gelaufen und fand den Park schön. Ein kleiner grüner und sauberer Park, der den Norden der Stadt mit dem Zentrum verbindet. Oben am Park kann man sogar etwas hinunter in das Zentrum schauen. Es gibt viele große Bäume, die im Sommer viel Schatten spenden. Außerdem gibt es sehr viele Blumen Rabatten, die den Park noch schöner und farbiger machen. War echt nett hier.

I recall this was a really nice area but right now it's in the process of having new roses planted so it's a bit off. But I'm sure it will be back to a nice place.
