IGA Elizabeth Downs

Convenient area, nice people the, had some great chats with all sorts of wonderful people. Great shops, foods good, chemist ( my regular chemist get all scripts there. Good medication advice, great staff, so helpful nothing they won't help with. Love the diverse cultural atmosphere. Take a look, all the food is good at reasonable price, hairdresser, haven't tried yet but on my list.
Don't let the graffiti etc put you off.
Sit on a nice day have culpa with locals.
WORTH IT! If not for you go somewhere else, just give it a go. Don't think you'll regret it, also IGA there, hand.

Plenty of parking and prices are competitive to the the big supermarkets.. of course all supermarkets offer specials.

Found the staff nice, polite and willing to serve .

The place is clean and well set out..

So it is on my visit again list ..

I have brought ice creams here before that weren't even frozen or had been refrozen cause you could tell upon opening. Didn't look the best.

Long wait in line however it was a public holiday but they eventually put on an extra checkout and didn’t have what I wanted in stock behind the counter

Fantastic range of items but terrible customer service, snatching the money from your hand and constantly short changing you is regular occurrence.

Their tills don't ring up correct amount on their specials. You end up paying full Price if you don't pay attention. This has happened to me twice and to many other customers. I was told a refund was issued and would not be in my bank for 24 hours, but it never came.

Has tried to overcharge almost everytime and having to constantly point out that the prices are wrong, the foods are out of date and being after been told have kept the food out. No apologises have been given and this is coming from multiple people from multiple times from the same area.

Recently I went to this Iga and I brought some ice cream (magnum white to be exact) it was foul and the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten, you can tell it’s been defrosted and refrozen multiple times and I am definitely not impressed so here I am writing this on the toilet with explosive diarrhoea next time I’ll just wait and go to coles.
