I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! Both barmaid and chef making our food were lovely people. We got the burger and a pint for $20 which is their Saturday deal and oh.. my… honestly the best burger I’ve had in Australia since landing here a year ago. Highly highly recommended for food and atmosphere! Also loved the music with my dinner.. great choice

Attended Fringe show, good atmosphere and attempts to keep us cool was achieved.

Had some fantastic nights here when it used to do Thursday nights band nights which were always very popular for the YHA lot to come down. Recently changed, slight shame. Hopefully they will bring this back!

We had a work function here and it was so easy to organise due to Elek being on the ball and so responsive to all my correspondence. On the night I was greeted warmly and all staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a great place to have a function with a number of function areas on offer and a great range of food and drink options to keep everyone happy, thanks Elek and staff for a great night :)

Great little pub to catch up with mates at. Good selection of brews on tap and their pizzas are really good value for money. It's got a nice homely feel, with couches and pool tables inside. The beer garden is pretty big too!

Great vibe. Outdoor seating out the front right next to the bus stop perfect to have a beer while you wait. Beer garden out the back with an intimate setting perfect with some music and a few mates add in $6 pints at happy hour and you cant go wrong

The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered sirloin steak and grilled salmon meals, the quality and cooking were very good and reasonably priced. Nothing not to like.

The grand old Duke of York - your $10 schnittys were quite tasty and well cooked. You weren't busy at lunch time so we got a table without any drama. The food was prepared quite quickly so we didn't have to wait long before we devoured it. I don't have anything to complain about so I'll wrap this 5* review up. Merry Christmas.

Would have to say that Elliot would be the nicest guy I've spoke to in a long time, nothing is to much trouble and he make a pretty good strawberry majito. Your doing a fantastic job with the duke, it's going to look amazing when its finished in the beer garden 😊😊🍸🍹🍺🍽

Thai beef salad was amazing and at night when things get into full swing it is definitely the place to be :D only downside is drinks are pricy but so is everywhere else! The staff are friendly and music was amazing both inside and out ;)

Honestly, it's a surprise I haven't reviewed this place yet as this is probably one of my favourite places in the city. I have quite a few stories courtesy of the Duke of Yorke.

From witnessing a proposal of a close friend to being reduced to a screaming crying mess by the wicked wing challenge, the Duke is a pub that has a special place in my heart.

But that's not going to want to make you come here. What might though is there exceptional service. Staff are hilladious and easy to get along with. Host to some hearty pub food and best of all, cheap drinks. Great place for pre's on a Friday night.

Great place in the city to grab something to eat, a huge range of things to choose from with the best beer garden Adelaide has to offer. I also love to go there on Thursday and Saturday nights for a few drinks an to dance!

Excellent gin cocktail, tasty chicken snitty, friendly service with a laugh and smile.

Lovely beer garden out the back. Nice friendly bartenders. Lovely music, will visit again to see more local artists.

Still one of my favourite pubs, even after the owner change. Quiet indoor area for chatting, decent bar garden with live music, great food and drink deals and friendly bar staff.

Beautiful staff great place for listening to live music in the beer garden a lovely meal a funtion for many or a placce to chill on the couch play some pool or try the bars flavored vodka beers an more. AWSOME Place

Great place for drinks on Friday afternoon. Plenty of table room out the back if you get there early or you can reserve tables for group drinks.
