Alma Tavern

Had the Bottomless Brunch experience at the Alma and it was such a great morning.

The food is very fresh and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the Roasted Field Mushrooms and Snashed Avocado.

The other thing I love about the Alma us they allow you to bring your dogs along into the Courtyard area.

Will come back here again.

The team and I went here for a quick lunch and had a great experience. Enough space, lots of parking available, indoor and outdoor with big screen and DJ desk setup. Service was good and food was great. Reasonable price too. We had pad thai, mushroom pizza, chicken and burgers.

Noted though that outdoor seats had few bird poo on the seat and table and so had to move tables twice but other than that still an overall great experience. Worth going to this one with friends and family.

Had a fabulous morning here for Community Day. Bottomless brunch was delicious.

Busy hotel with really good food. I had chicken schnitzel and it was well cooked and delicious. My friend had the salmon and she enjoyed it.

Awesome place to go for the pub quiz on a Tuesday. Had dinner here twice and both times were great. Burgers, schnitzels, nachos etc - all good.

Specific shout out to the gluten-free pizza. It's the least-gluten-free-tasting pizza I've ever eaten - they're usually tough and hard but this was almost like eating normal pizza.

My parents also enjoyed the senior weekday lunch - $20 for 3 courses

Great venue, always come here, great food, friendly security guard always makes sure we are safe and the patrons are behaving. Manager was amazing, looked after us. Will come again :)

I had my baby shower at the Alma recently and was very impressed. Sarah, the program organiser was very responsive to my emails and I made several changes at the last minute and they were very happy to accommodate us. All of my guests enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the fire place was amazing and kept us all beautifully warm on a cold wintery day.

Had lunch in the dining area and it was absolutely lovely. The service was great, the food was perfect and the prices were very reasonable.. thoroughly recommended it! 👍

Can hardly fault this place, this is one of my all time favourite pubs in adelaide and in my opinion one of the best pubs in adelaide. The restaurant has a really nice classy, cosy feel to it with the booths and the fireplace. Food is always impeccable, you wouldn't even know you are eating in a pub as the food here is restaurant quality if not better food than some of the other restaurants in adelaide. They have a good selection of beer on tap including a few boutique beers, the barman talked me into trying a imperial pint of furphy, never heard of it before, but i was quite impressed, apparently only a few selected pubs in adelaide stock it. Finally i would like to give a shout out to Kyle who is a waiter, we have eaten in the restaurant a few times now and every single time Kyle is by far the standout, always very friendly and more to the point he knows the food and menu, haven't seen many waiters or waitresses as confident on the menu as Kyle, from my point of view Kyle is a great asset to the alma tavern. Keep up the great work guys 😁

We returned to the Alma for dinner this evening. Once again, the food, service and catering for dietary requirements, gluten free and dairy free was excellent. The food was very delicious; beef snitzle and chicken snitzle, cooked to perfection.

Very tasty gluten free and dairy free meals with lots of flavour, today when we dined. We had the beef schnitzel and chicken maryland. Table service was excellent from Lauren and the barman, whose name I don't know. We will return.

Came with the family, great atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Great menu that would cater for most tastes. Kids meals were great, but would love to see beef schnitzel option. I had lamb shanks, very generous serve. My partner chooses to eat plant based, and the menu here is brilliant. Highly recommend. Bonus, fire place and bottled red wine sale. Definitely coming back.

Always a fun night at the Alma on quiz nite. Good food, lots of variety and a monthly changing menu offering vegan and vegetarian choices.

Great food and superb service provided by the delightful Ethan. His professionalism and natural style was particularly commendable.

Sweet potato fries were the starter and were just delicious. A must! I ordered the chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy. Moist and tender. Came with a generous serve of chips and I chose garlic greens. The greens were perfect. My son chose the margherita pizza which he said was awesome. Service was quick friendly and it was nice to see this venue support young people with jobs. Atmosphere was warm and friendly and fun to people watch. Great place.

Dropped in for a feed. The venue was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The venue was pretty busy but it was still a good atmosphere.
Ordered the burger. Came out, hot and fresh. Tasted great!
Missos schnitty and the kids meals were of good size and they came out hot and tasted great!
The beer also tasted great and nice and fresh.

Last night we enjoyed an excellent experience at the Alma restaurant for my niece’s 21st birthday. There were multiple staff members who were all so polite and went out of their way to make our night more enjoyable. They even let me taste a couple of red wines to make sure I got what I wanted. We were off to a great start already and then all our orders (20+ people) all came out together and were delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and I will definitely be going back! They also accommodated for the 5 celiacs we had! 5 stars! ⭐ Thanks Alma for making her 21st a very enjoyable night. ❤

Had a large group for dinner tonight. Meals were very good, all arrived at the same time. Service was exceptional. All of the restaurant staff were super friendly and accomodating. Don’t normally take time to write reviews but full credit to Alma team for nailing the service

Great place; friendly staff. Really decent vegan pub food. You may have to wait a while for your food to arrive during peak periods.
We will be back though!
