Marina Cafe

Great spot for breakfast outside of the hotel .I reccomend getting takeaway and eating across the road by the water. We shared a BLAT and a B@E roll and couldn't fault it.coffee was also great and reasonably priced.

My wife and I came to this cafe while waiting for our flight to Brisbane.
Really nice cafe with good views of people walking by, families in golf buggies.
You can sit inside the cafe or outside, food reasonable prices and taste fresh. Service very quick, easy, staff always have a genuine smile and friendly. Two large hot chocolate, ham n cheese croissant and plain croissant cost $35 AU
Overall it was a nice relaxing experience

Amazing view and a lot of parking for buggy.
You can enjoy your breakfast with an amazing view. My husband was surprised that they have bao buns in the menu, as I have never tried bao buns, he wanted me to try them. Trust me that’s 🤤
I ordered smashed avocado toast and egg Benedict as well which was quite good.
Overall it’s a good cafe.

Two parents and two grown kids had a lovely lunch here. Toasted sandwiches were very nice. The kids had the sushi and loved it. Their frappes were awesome - their words. Mum loved her coffee. They made an error and cooked another sandwiches. I said I would take it if it didn’t belong to someone else. I got it. I would have paid, but didn’t have to. Please readers, I don’t think this is a regular offer. Bright and airy atmosphere, with a view of the marina. I guess that accounts for the name of the cafe. Loved it.

Beautiful cafe by the marina!! Food is really delicious & comes out quick, high quality fresh ingredients. Staff are very friendly in the majority. Coffee was great & well made. Fresh decor & a few nice outside tables. Best spot for brekkie on the island!

A plethora of options. Was actually surprised that they go above and beyond and serve Bao Buns and sushi as well. Great coffee and typical breakfest options. Not the biggest sized cafe in terms of seating, but the food comes out quick enough it shouldn't be a problem.

Good spot for breakfast, had the corn fritters which were lovely and an iced coffee which was also good. Open early so you can get a coffee before your tour or ferry.

Was surprised by how good the food was considering it was one of the only cafes on island and the quality of the gluten free options. Had a special of the day- smashed avo on gluten free pumpkin bread. Was delicious!

Having this view while you're having breakfast is never tiring. I must recommend the bircher. It was so good I went back again for more the next morning. Coffee is also excellent here. Grab a seat across the road and watch the boats come and go.

Beautiful cafe on the marina. Can sit at the benches on the water and they’ll bring your meal out. Bacon and egg roll was delicious, alongside the Chicken, Bacon, Avo Fillo and Ham, Cheese and Tomato Croissant. Latte and Smoothies are delicious.

Love this place! Friendly staff, great food, excellent coffee!

This was a great spot to head to after watching the sunrise. It opened at 6.30am which is what you need when you’ve got early risers. Coffee for the adults, milkshakes for the kids and some banana bread to share. Perfect!

Nicely satisfied sitting down for a smashed avo and long black. Price high, but just in line with everything on the island.
It was a really well done dish: plenty of avocado, nice bread, tasty dukkah, perfectly poached eggs.

First time eating at the marina cafe, I wasn’t too sure what to order but Maddie was so patient with me, she suggested I get an ice chocolate and avo on toast, and when I tell you it was the best iced chocolate I ever drank in my life !!!! Maddie you are a 5 star barista, with a wonderful, fun and positive attitude, Thankyou! Her friend sarah was also so lovely, thanks girls.

Do your self a favour and wake up early before the crowds and treat your self a breakfast at the marina cafe

Open early for breakfast with fresh juices, coffee and some nice savoury lines. There are plenty of options to try and then sit outside and enjoy the morning in the marina

We made Marina Cafe our go to place. The service was really good and so was the food. The staff was also top notch and we enjoyed each of our visits. Only negative is that they don’t do freshly squeezed OJ.

Enjoyed the eggs on toast for breakfast and couldn't have eaten anything more, great value compared with other places on the island. One of the best places for coffee that we've found as well.
