Pavé Cafe

Nice Cafe with great taste of food and beautiful decorations. We visited here for the first time and had "smashed avocado " which was tasty along with great coffee . Staff was super friendly and good customer service made our experience more enjoyable.

Nice cozy cafe, lots of plants and rustic decoration. We had the special and it was delicious. Coffee is 10/10. Pet friendly too 😄

Ordered the “Happy Hens” (eggs on toast, pretty much) with bacon. Even with the cafe full, it arrived in under 15 minutes. As I was about to tuck in, the waitress said ‘the chef sends his apologies for one of those eggs and we’ll bring another one out for you’. I was a bit nonplussed, until I noticed one of the eggs was slightly perforated and a little bit of yolk was peeking through.

Absolutely not a big deal and I would happily have eaten it as-is, but the chef had taken it upon himself to ensure the best experience possible. This was incredibly impressive. A small, seemingly insignificant act, but to me it showed a chef with high standards, who cares about what he does. The food itself was excellent, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Too often in the Australian hospitality scene, you come across businesses and staff who act as if it is a privilege to dine with them, and we as customers should be grateful the business is allowing us to eat there. Not so at Pavé. We left there feeling that this is a business which, even when it is busy and presumably doing well, genuinely values its customers. Will certainly be back.

Food is always good here, serves are quite generous and reasonable prices. The service is quick. If not a sunny day outside super effective heaters that make the place warm on a very cold and wet day. I thought the coffee was 10/10 too.
Also dog friendly. Lots of street parking on the Parade.

Visited this cafe while on The Parade looking for a place to have a coffee ☕ The tables outside were occupied and even though it seemed busy inside the cafe, there were plenty of seats available. The cafe has a very rustic feel to it, which is very relaxing but also makes it seem a lively place. You need to go up to the counter and place your order; which is then brought over to your table when it is ready. The caffè latte was very good and the service excellent. The man who brought the coffee also served me a glass of water without being requested 👍

The decor is very nice and this cafe seems to be quite a popular place. As I was leaving I noticed that there were quite a few people at the entrance waiting to be shown to their seats. Would love try out their food menu next time I am in the neighbourhood. Can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice cup of coffee ☕ in a relaxed environment.

Stunning. Food absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and colours that all compliment each other. Coffee here is well brewed with slight bitterness. Venue is a good size, warm and welcoming. Would recommend.

I love Pavé! Great coffee, delicious breakfasts, good service. Best on warm days since it’s mostly outside, but that’s its charm. However old cold days they crank the heaters up.

Came to Pave for early breakfast Saturday, we were quickly given a table, food came out very quick and much more affordable than other places. Definitely will be coming back

Always a consistent 5 star. I've been going here as often as possible for many years. The Eggs Benne is loaded with the best hollandaise around, and if they have a special on, just get it! You won't be disappointed.

Cute cosy dog friendly environment with friendly staff and great cafe fare. Reasonably priced and all dishes came out promptly and were delicious.

Great little cafe with friendly staff too. Really enjoy going there. They a kids menu and crayons and paper for kids which is great. One of those places that you don’t want to tell others about only because it’s too good to share :-) I’ve been here with my 2 year old, with my husband and kid, and by myself and every time it’s just amazing. I have not met a friendlier place with great breakfast and brunch too.
