Club Evans RSL

Nice club by the river in Evans Head. Food is great. I had the snapper,chips and salad for $28 and it was so nice I forgot to take a photo!

We had a lovely meal of curry prawns , ginger and soy pork chop with vegetables
Staff were excellent
The view from the front deck wonderful looking over to the marina

Awesome Club and position on the River. Great, no super meals. Fab entertainment.

All RSL clubs are great and lunch here was no different, delicious 🤔👍.
Had a flutter on Keno, for that read donation and a drink or two.
Very pleasant atmosphere.

BUT. 26/01/2024 Update:
Last night, when we took an interstate visitor to dinner (which was delicious) the evening was spoilt by the aggravating raffle caller who went on and on to his own enjoyment whilst spoiling it for everyone else who were trying to enjoy their meal and quiet conversation.
No problem with selling raffle tickets, always fun to do but this spruikers' private jokes and overly amplified voice was just too, too much. Everyone at the Bar and seated far away at even the stage area were subjected to this loose cannon of a speaker and all I heard from were in agreement; he was TOO loud and went on for TOO long, please modify, moderate and monitor next time rather than make YOUR guests suffer for nearly 45 minutes of pure HELL...

Got lunch here the other day and all 4 of our meals were delightful it was quiet and everyone was lovely and friendly will refinery go here again for lunch and even dinner

Lovely staff in the bistro on Sunday. Very helpful going above and beyond for our party!

Large establishment with a reputation for quality food. I can attest to great service at a very fair price. Views on two sides to help drinks go down.

We have visited the club numerous times, the staff are always very friendly and helpful, the meals are great.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was of a large variety and processes food . I had the grilled Barra and salad and chips. Very good portion and everything lovely and fresh.

Friendly staff, nice views, welcoming atmosphere

I’ve visited a fair few times mostly for the Reschs, this last visit was for the surfboard swap meet. What a great day! Excellent way to engage with the local community, meet a heap of old diggers, had an amazing dinner and once again drank lots of Reschs! Still very happy that the club supports the Reschs Appreciation Society along with the stamp. But best of all the surfboard display was excellent! Will definitely be back next year, as we enjoyed staying in a local motel for a couple nights it was a great few days to Evans Head.
