Mobil Marree Outback Roadhouse

This place is timeless. Have been popping in for a big juicy fresh cooked burger and a cold drink since 1993. Still looks the same! Love this place.

Well Lyall, Kristy Warren and the great chef in training do a fantastic job. Fresh baked goods licenced and bottle 🍼 shop. The highlight for us was the Friday night buffet bake dinner. Several roasted meat dishes meats baked vegetables steamed greens and gravy. Saturday night buffet lamb shanks mash peas and veg. Both included sweets for a VERY reasonable $25.00 per head. We stayed at the pub BUT ate at the Road House. The drinks were reasonably priced.Thank you team great job. Sue and Doug.

Lyle & his team are brilliant. They have everything you need & Lyle (a local all his life) who’s owned this roadhouse since 1986 does the baking with fresh bread cookies & even cooks the buns for egg & bacon breaky rolls!! Can take away or sit for a yummo meal. Great vibes & welcoming & good prices. Definitely recommend

We took the scenic flight from Adelaide, a more extended trip full of beautiful places and landscapes. The South Australia outback is fantastic! We landed in Marree and went straight to lunch at the Roadhouse, the best steak ever. The owner of the place, Lyall, was excellent. We even left with a souvenir from Marree; we stayed at Marree Caravan Park; the accommodation cabin was clean, with air conditioning and a perfect mattress.
We left before sunrise to have that breakfast at the Roadhouse, once again perfect.
A wonderful experience that we will recommend to our students and friends.

Best meat pie ever in the whole wide world!

No joke, we got home made beef pie, macadamia cookies and a brownie which were all good.

The meat pie blew our mind with the great flavour and juicy beef inside. Most pies put a lot of cornstarch or other thickeners. We only bought 1 as we were not too hungry and biggest regret ever as we are from Melbourne and would not be back to this place for a long while.

It was home made by the gentleman which we think is the owner of the place. The lady sho served is is very friendly. She recommended the pies and said the gentleman was hell of a cook and she was right! Great service!

We'll be back one day for the pies and baked goods... and the petrol.

The roadhouse owners are awesome people. Christmas Day, the owners of the gas station opened up to allow our party of 4 vehicles a fill up as we ventured in to the Oodnatta track. This gas station is over the road from the historical site of the first Mosque in Australia. This small Hamlet is steeped in history, and whilst the place it's self is very small, the history and significance is enormous.

Best pie I've ever eaten! Lots of supplies at a good price, friendly service and well priced fuel. We also got a home made loaf of bread and it is great!

5 stars for service! Filled up with diesel which was well priced considering the remote location of the service station. Unfortunately the eftpos machine was not connecting so I went back to the hotel to grab cash and came back 10 minutes to pay. Very friendly service and trusting! Thank you!

Visited the roadhouse twice today, stopped in for a morning coffee which was better than some fancy cafes I’ve been in, then it was back in the evening for a very large rib fillet , eggs , onions and chips which the chef was more than happy to put together, my wife was overwhelmed by the roast of the day( $15)
