New Oriental Pearl Restaurant

We recently had a private function here.
The meal was a banquet and without exception, all the dishes served were tasty.

The service was also excellent.

We will be back again for sure!

There's a small restaurant car park with entry either off Magill Rd, or St Barnard's.

We've always seen this restaurant fairly packed with people each time we drove past it and was intrigued to try out the food.
So Instead of dining in, we did a takeaway and we were blown away!!!

We ordered a seafood fried rice, battered fried king prawns and beef stir fried in black pepper sauce. All three dishes came in good sized portions and tasted unbelievably delicious.

We can't wait to dine in at New Oriental Pearl soon!

This is easily the best Chinese restaurant in the council area, and can compete with any highbrow restaurant in the city. The food here is seriously GREAT! Made from heart. You just have to be patient as it's ala carte. I suggest they give a welcome snack or something for the wait. We're not even Asians but just some food adventurist but I tell you, the entire family enjoyed every bit of the foreign menu! No excess seasoning and overbearing flavors. Tried the squid, ginger fish, seafood fried rice, veggie mix, tofu hot soup, etc, all on point. Let's not forget the welcoming waiter that served us ;)

Just a update I did delete my last review. As I had called the restaurant and was so pleased with how my problem was resolved.
I would highly recommend the food and service here.
Nothing is to much trouble. And in this day and age it's very rare.
So thankyou to the lady I spoke to on the phone to the young man who delivered my battered prawns. My granddaughter has not stop talking about how great they are. And I loved them also.

Beautiful setting, very clean, and delicious dishes especially the Wasabi beef and Stir fried noodles with Beef.

We had a nice experience tonight, everything was quick and smooth. Great food, pleasant music and warming hospitality. Thank you Jason and the team for this great experience. Definitely recommended!

Fabulous food - service was slow due to take away orders however did not distract from the wonderful food.

I can't even say how much I enjoy eating here. The food is delicious, authentic for a person who is actually Chinese, and the staff are super nice. This restaurant mostly goes unnoticed, so I think that it is super underrated. This place is my favourite restaurant for Chinese food, and I'd definitely recommend it for people who want to try, or have good Chinese food. They have dishes for everyone, and the prices are really amazing, me and my family spent not much!

Great little joint to get Cantonese style food.

Great authentic Chinese food, many Hunan & Szechuan style dishes so lots of spicy options which taste amazing. Much more interesting than the typical Chinese one finds in Australia. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly, my favourite Chinese in all Adelaide. I eat here regularly.

Haven't eaten in, only had takeaways. But huge portion sizes justify the modest price. Delicious as well, perfect for when you get cravings for Chinese. Seems like a nice location at the corner of an intersection.

Only 10% discount for pick up orders over $35 though, although they advertise 20% discount on blackboard and social media!

Our family group of 8 had the best dining-in experience at the New Oriental Pearl. The service was quick and super friendly, the food was wonderful - we couldn't fault anything. We thoroughly recommend, and will be back!

The food was delicious (specially the pork ribs with Chenpi, three cup chicken ) and the service was very attentive and considerate to the guest. Undoubtedly, one of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Adelaide.
