Great late lunch on a Sunday! Water views, table service, very well cooked pub fare with options to suit most tastes. I had garlic and chilli mussels. Served with delicious sourdough garlic bread in perfect spicy tomato garlic sauce.

Great little getaway! Room was clean, bed comfy and spa warm. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and drove to Exeter Cabin for the most delicious brunch. If you are wondering if you should be a spa room, you 100% should.

All rooms have great views over Tamar River. Rooms are well sized, comfy beds.
We had dinner at the hotel in front…very good.
Breakfast cafe was not open yet so drove to Exeter Bakery….excellent!

Quality, down-to-earth establishment. Great value for money. Wonderful views. Clean, very good standard rooms. Well-run. You won’t be disappointed by anyone but perhaps the guests… Note that the food in the downstairs restaurant is good standard as well, with fantastic service (for Australia, top 5% level). Beautiful sunset across the water - and don’t miss the pontoon! Overall, money well spent on a well-managed business with great staff.

Best location and customer service.
Restaurant staff is really cooperative and helpful. Really nice food and we requested boiled eggs for our two year old daughter and they made for us.

Good friendly service and we were served by some Lovely French servers. Food is far better than the typical pub meals and the dessert were also super. Decent place for some y good.

Food, service and location were all fabulous.
Chilli garlic mussels, fish and chips, chicken, affogato, apple cake.
Simply delicious.
Highly recommend.

It was a stay we needed.
Everything about Rosevears is fault less. From check in to check out. It was a great couple of days.
Plus the old pub in front was an amazing place
From breakfast from the adjoining bakery to dinner in the restaurant.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a great little getaway

Perfect location gorgeous rooms and fantastic pub just book you won’t be disappointed to wake up to the beautiful Tamar Valley river after having a gorgeous dinner and comfy sleep it’s a dream hotel.

Great place to stay. Good meals and friendly staff and patrons. Restaurant is. Good make sure you book a table with a view.

Just a quick call in trying to get some late lunch..But kitchen was closed. Very helpful bar staff though and we enjoyed a nice cold drink

Didn't stay overnight but had a meal at the pub. A great deal on schnitzels on Tuesday night, great value for money and enjoyed the view from our table.

Stayed in the hotel over night with a spa and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant.

A little out of the way from Launceston, but right on the Tamar. Accommodation was great, and having a tavern so close was good too.

Family of 4 had a fantastic stay. We stayed 2 nights through luxury escapes. All rooms have a beautiful view. Heaters work perfect and rooms are great size. We went to the restaurant for dinner 2 nights and the food was so tasty. Pizza, chicken snitz and ribs were too quality. Special mention to Andrew as he was a great host with super easy check in. Bakery onsite with nice hot coffees and food.

Loved my stay room was lovely and clean had a spa room so nice and relaxing terrific views friendly staff would definitely recommend

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. Views from the balcony were great. Staff were awesome, friendly and always helpful. Plenty of places to go and visit in the area. Had a meal in the attached restaurant that was well priced and staff were great

We adored this place! The rooms were immaculate and the setting is beautiful. We had dinner in the hotel and it was delicious. My husband's seafood pizza gave us all food envy! Had breaky in the bakery and it was also very good. Nice pastries, toasties, and coffee.
