SkyBus Hobart international airport

Seriously, the best way to get from Hobart Airport to any of six locations in Hobart CBD. Very reasonable cost, with the timetable in sync from 1st flight in to last flight out. There's an inside retail shop and signage directly outside the terminal, which you can't miss. Pre-purchase tickets last for 3 months.

We took the 8.40pm bus on the 9th of Dec, and our bus driver Harry was very accommodating, hospitable, and friendly, not just to us, but we could see to all the passengers; answering their queries, helping them with phone numbers to connecting services, etc.

As for us, after we missed the 8.10pm bus, he helped us with our address (first time to Hobart so we were extremely unfamiliar with the area), and knowing we had difficulty getting to North Hobart, Harry offered to drop us near Strahan St on his way to the bus depot. We were moved by such graciousness, that when we offered to tip him, he politely declined and mentioned to us to just leave him a review.

Harry's professionalism and hospitality is highly commendable, and he has given SkyBus a good reputation for our first impression!

Miriam was my driver today. She was fantastic. Very funny and very accommodating. I've never had such a fun bus ride!

Really great driver Paul, great at his job and went above and beyond to help passengers and be friendly and welcoming. I lost something on the bus and the info line and Paul were extremely helpful in getting it back to me. I also like that you can buy tix on the bus, unlike Melb etc. Only suggestion for improvement is a North Hobart stop.. I really miss that about the old shuttle bus

Skybus in Tasmania is awesome.

It is convenient, Clean, very easy to access from the arrival, especially closed to the baggage reclaim.

The bus driver, Nicole is friendly, welcoming with smiles, and full of sense of wit. And she share a lot of informative announcement with passengers on our way to the downtown. She was the second to none influencer I have ever met in Tasmania.

The HBA airport in Tasmania is in about 30 min distance by the Skybus, so no hassles to get a rental car to drive down to the downtown just incase you might have had pre-happy-drinks, l Pale Ale(s) from the departed airport.

Thanks a lot for making the beginning of my trip easier and simpler.

Great service from the team at SkyBus Hobart. I left my camera on the bus at night and when we contacted them the next morning they were all over it and I had my camera back by 9.30am. Absolutely amazed by Pat, driver of Skybus Hobart at the airport. Professional, friendly, kind and respectful. He explained the trip, where we should stop, what to expect before we boarded (including expecting the four roundabouts we would go through so hold on to your seats! Lol) and helped us with the luggage. During the trip his announcements were clear and he signalled when we were to disembark. Told us to expect walking up a slope to the hotel. First trip to Tassie and we felt more welcomed than ever! Thanks Pat. Keep up the great work! Did I mention you kept the bus clean too?
Access is amazing. Bus stops at major hotels. Getting tickets is easy too!

What a delight! Super helpful and chirpy from the get go. Very informative regarding what stops to take and and driving was on point!!!

His commentary as we drove over the Tasman Bridge into Hobart city, accompanied by his reccomendations of good coffee, burgers, seafood, sight seeing and history paired with the fact that he remembered who was getting off where!!
