The lake becomes yellow during summer. You can access through a little gate, look for it closely and you will see

If your passing here then do stop and have a little walk to take photos and enjoy the surroundings.
Small parking area just off/on side of road.

Make sure you bring water and some snacks as it is a fairly long drive back to Menzies (which is a lovely little town-great coffee and food at the Achievable outback cafe) and has a good display in the tourist info office about the statues/rocks and local I suggest going there first so you know what you are looking at. The salt lake can be a little clay like to walk on so have spare shoes to get back in the car. When we were there it was firm enough that someone had had a wheelchair out there. Take hats and sunscreen if you plan to walk out to them too
