Absolutely amazing.
We were lucky to have Sarah both of our tours the Cathedral and Explorer. She is very informative and our 2 girls had the best time up the front with her. So happy I pushed my self out of my comfort zone to experience the complete package, even though I was covered in mid by the end.
Well worth the visit.
We will be back when the girls are older to do the Adventurer tour.

We booked the Cathedral tour and had a very nice and informative tour of the caves. Our guide Hudson gave a lot of information about the cave and the plants and animals with a lot of humor and good humor. In the cathedral we were able to experience the impressive acoustics of the cave along with a small light show.

Amazing tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and mindful of everyone’s level of experience. It was great learning about the geology and natural history of the area, and the caves are beautiful. The only thing I can think of to improve the experience is adding the significance of the caves to the traditional people of the land.

We stayed a night in a cabin for two and in the morning did the explorer (medium difficulty) tour. Cabin was clean and comfortable with all the amenities and the tour was a lot of fun (quite challenging and a bit slippery after all the rain, but helpful and knowledgeable guide). Definitely worth a few hour stop on your way north or south.

Lovely experience. We booked the cathedral tour which suited our group and it was a lot of fun. I forgot the name of our guide but he was really good and answered a lot of questions.

Kids will enjoy the suspension bridge and the zigzag passing through the cave structure.

Highly recommend it.

We did the explorer tour and loved it! Fun, informative guide. Some moderately challenging sections and options to go into tighter spots if you are feeling adventurous. Very cool!

Such an incredible tour. The explorer tour is a must do if you don’t mind slightly tight spaces. Hudson was one of the best tour guides we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and incredibly enthusiastic. Clothes you are happy to get dirty and shoes with good grip is a must. We will be back for the adventurer tour!!

What a fantastic experience, cannot recommend this enough. We signed up for the adventurer tour and it fully lived up to its name. We went with the expectation of just venturing deeply into the caves, but this offered so much more. Expect to crawl, climb and squeeze your way through passages you don’t think you’ll fit through (only if you want to)!

Our tour guide Beth was fantastic. She was knowledgeable and personable, and the perfect guide to this brilliant adventure tour. We learned about the bats and the rock formations as well as a bit of history of the discovery of the caves. This is all whilst pushing yourself through these caves into the different passages/rooms.

Don’t wear clothes you care about, including shoes. It had rained the day before our trip so there were lots of puddles and mud. Luckily we were prepared and felt like it added to the experience but just a bit of warning to people planning to do this!

I think this is such good value for money for the experience we had, and will definitely be recommending to people we know. Thanks again.

After reading the reviews and looking online we had to visit and it certainly didn't disappoint. We decided on the cathedral caves not the full experience which sounded good, although everyone came out looking rather muddy. Next time for sure.
The guide we had made the experience even better the energy and passion from her made it even more enjoyable.
As it says on the website, definitely wear grippy shoes as it can be slippy inside the caves

Wish we stayed longer! This was a beautiful place to stop on our road trip. We stayed in the Cabin 4 (studio) which had everything we could possibly need (stove, kettle, fridge etc). We did a grocery shop before arriving and made a nice meal in our cabin. Walking around the camp grounds there is some great camp fire places and glamping tents. The cave tour was great. We did the cathedral walk. The main cathedral cave is incredible, the acoustics are amazing. We really enjoyed it and will be back for sure!

We had the best 90 minutes of our holiday with tour guide James. So full of information and very good answering my 10 yo grandaughters many questions. Genuinely nice guy. Offered to take photos of our family etc. We had a wonderful experience on the Adventure tour.

If you’re not afraid of a challenge and small spaces the Adventure tour is a must! So much fun and our tour guide Hudson was so knowledgeable in every aspect of the tour.

Bring hiking boots and long pants as you WILL get dirty! A T-shirt is enough - heaps of crawling to do ;)

An absolute blast! We did the Capricorn explorer tour and Hudson was awesome! The best guide - thank you so much. Your knowledge was insane!! Can’t wait to come back and do a different type of tour next year. Truly something we won’t forget, thanks for all the fun :)

Went on the adventure tour, was really impressed with how challenging and fun the experience was.

Expect to properly crawl on your belly, was a very unique and exciting experience. Well worth the money.

Also top rating to the tour guide Byron, great guy with very reassuring, knowledgeable and funny.

Our tour guide Sarah was an eccentric character and greeted the group with an infectious smile and laugh. She provided excellent knowledge about the caves and dry rainforest. The acoustic audio experience was great - shame about people ruining it by filming it. There should be no phone rule for that part. We then entered the Bat Cave and the noise sounded almost unearthly. 45min tour was perfect length, great tour guide and fun experience

One of the cool things to do around here.
The family tour is quite adventurous, with lots of crawling through small spaces and water for 2 hours. If you are on the larger side, it can become a bit claustrophobic.
And you see some mini bats.

Byron was our guide and we absolutely loved him: witty and passionate, he is a true enthusiast about everything speleology, from the culturally relevant aspects to the more scientific side he was also able to throw in some Latin etymologies in his explanations which made it all together even more refined and valuable as an experience.
An improvised detour that turned out to be a very pleasant and memorable experience with the addition of some learning.
Thank you Byron!

Capricorn Caves, with ample parking and facilities like toilets, offers a captivating experience. We opted for the 45-minute Cathedral Tour, an awe-inspiring journey into natural wonders. Note that there's no Telstra/Boost signal, so be prepared. Wear appropriate shoes for the slightly slippery terrain and limited lighting, but the overall adventure is truly amazing – highly recommended for those seeking a unique and memorable underground exploration.

We did the 90-min Explorer Tour and that was just perfect (we were so glad we didn't settle on the 45-min Cathedral Tour). It was only slightly challenging, with a bit of ducking down and using hands to help get up and down certain places. Best to wear non slippery shoes as it can get slippery down there during the rainy season. Jackson was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Looks like he's found his vocation in life as his passion for the caves and speleology definitely rubbed off. I highly recommend this tour (I'm also glad we didn't do the 2-hr Adventurer Tour as that would have involved crawling on all fours in tighter spaces).
