SA Boat Trailers (Spitfire)

After deciding to upgrade to a new Aluminium trailer for our Mustang 24, we came across the Spitfire trailers and also currently owning a recently built local high end Aluminium trailer for another 26 feet Fibreglass boat we own, we had a fairly high bench mark to compare to, but the more we looked into the Spitfire, the more we started to notice the high end points of differences that are not available in the current market, for example the chassis is Anodised after welding T6 Aluminium and any other aluminium is anodised after welding T4, the anodising is a great addition, not only protects but looks stunning and will stay looking like that forever, any other non alloy material on the trailer is polished stainless steel, all brackets, bolts, roller pins, the winch, etc etc etc is all a work of art, the attention to detail is second to none, all stainless steel fabrication is CNC milled and the attention to detail on the construction is stunning. The list on the website is very impressive, but not a complete list of so much more, After some very positive communication with Andrew, we delivered the boat to his Adelaide factory and coming from Melbourne he opened his factory for us on the weekend and craned the boat off the old trailer and spent as much time as we needed in collaborating with us on the build until we were all on the same page on all the details of the build, his patience, time, understanding and passion was very appreciated, we left for the drive back to Melbourne feeling good about the whole process and were confident we were getting a first class product. During the build Andrew communicated with us and we communicated with him, he was always available and the collaboration was a continuing ongoing process between us, that again was very appreciated, we weren’t just a number in the queue. When the time came to drive back to Adelaide to pick up the new trailer with the Mustang on it, again Andrew went out of his way to make this as seamless as possible for us and again opened his factory for us on a Sunday, on arrival what we were presented with was a work of engineering art, simply stunning attention to detail, the more we looked the more we saw, again attention to detail stood out as did so much more, nothing is passed by on these trailers, including the value for your dollar, Andrew and his team should be commended for everything they do from start to finish to make this such a positive outcome, thank you.

I purchased an aluminium Spitfire trailer to suit my 5.5m plate alloy centre console boat. A year and a half later the trailer is as good as new. I live on a dirt road and the trailer handles the conditions perfectly. I no longer have anxiety at the boat ramp as launching and retrieving is a simple, fool proof task.
I recently caught up with Spitfire trailers team at the Adelaide Boating Show. Once again, their customer service was first class. I'm extremely glad I made the investment in a quality aluminium Spitfire trailer. I'd definitely do it again 👍

The backup service and support provided by Andrew, Gino and the rest of the team at Spitfire trailers was amazing. The trailer was purchased for a Quintrex 5.3m Coast Runner located in regional SA and freighted over.
