Waack's Bakery Ararat

Stopped here on a public holiday and thankfully Waack's was open! Their coffee was good as were the muffins we chose. There's no shortage of food choice here from hot food to rolls through to cakes. The bakery is very clean as are the rest rooms and the staff member we spoke with was very friendly. No hesitation in stopping here again.

A great, traditional style country bakery. Fresh food, really nice bread.

Quick service, surprisingly good coffee. Room to sit down and eat, or grab and go.

Cakes and sweet treats are well rated, tasty and well worth a visit, even from hours away in Melbourne!

Had an iced coffee & sweet chilli chicken wrap.
The wrap was pretty yummy, coffee was alright.
Plenty of space, nice little cozy corner.
Will definitely visit again.

One of the best country bakeries around. I'm glad I only had a light breakfast before going there on a Sunday morning. Lots of variety and very fresh produce.
I had a meat pie, Cornish pastie and vanilla slice.
All were delicious and fresh.
Staff were very pleasant and gave great service

We had a toasted lamb roll and a coffee both where great,friendly staff,large variety of cakes, pastries and rolls

Lovely cosy bakery, food was very nice, a great place to stop when passing by.

Staff were helpful, friendly and cheerful on a busy weekend. Coffee was great, kids loved the milk shakes, beautiful fresh sandwiches, toasties were tasty, sausage roll was delicious and the
vanilla slice was the best we have had in a long time. Definitely recommend a visit to Waack's Bakery.

Quick service, reasonable priced and a large range of hot food, as well as cakes ready to go. I got a loaded chicken snitzhel roll, was absolutely fantastic.

Very popular shop. Good,fresh quick service, bread,rolls,pies etc. Nice coffee and seating available.

Great fresh food, good coffee, keep going back. Salad Rolls are a favourite.

Absolutely brilliant. Fresh sandwiches are great, possibly one of the best Mushroom and Beef Pies I've ever had, the coffee is amazing. And all the staff are very friendly!
I'm not from the area, but I went in there twice in the one day before I left town it was that good.

My recent visit for a late lunch was a pleasant experience, where I was attended with curtious service and food which was exceptional, I will definitely be returning, Thanks, Linda Chester

Called in on our way home from Halls Gap and this was the best decision we could’ve made!
As soon as we walked in the door, the sweetest lady started chatting away and asking about our day etc, I got a super freshly made focaccia and my partner got a mouth watering pie, sausage roll. All were to die for, absolutely delicious!! I’d drive an hour from home just for this food again. My partner also got the famous vanilla slices, and well they did not disappoint! They were so divine and left him wanting more! Definitely stop in, the friendliest staff which made the good old country bakery even more appealing!!
