My husband and I stayed at the Golden chain motor lodge on the 27/06/20 with our fur baby in tow. We were greeted warmly with good old fashioned service. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and plenty of room. The owners (Ken and Robyn) are constantly doing improvements and it shows that they care about the Motel and the people that stay there. Our dog was made to feel very welcome also. There is a country style well equipped camp kitchen, so we’re able to cook our own meal. Shower was good an hot plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I would highly recommend this establishment for any one travelling or going through Donald.

On the Old Sunraysia hwy this is a comfortable motor lodge with good beds and plenty of parking

Stayed overnight for the New year's Eve. A beautiful lodge. The owner was really nice and helpful. Rooms were big and very clean. Loved it. Would recommend a quite walk around the suburb while staying here.

Couldn’t fault it. Just a good old motel, good quiet ac/ heating and nice and clean. Lots of parking and very nice owners. Also there is a great bbq and outdoor drinks etc area.

Great stop over owners friendly good priced room

Stopped here after a very stressful drive from Kilmore, I was very impressed with the room, comfortable and clean, the owner was absolutely lovely, she was very pleasant.. 😌

Came for a funeral was great to be able not to be rushed getting ready.
