Lovely Country pub, called in for lunch and did not disappoint. Great friendly service and excellent well priced meals. Steak sandwich was delicious washed down with a couple of drinks.

Stopped there for lunch and a meet up with people , the meals were excellent large servings and very well priced,service was very friendly and beer was nice and cold.

Best pub meal we have had in ages. We are in Donald visiting family and went here for dinner. The garlic prawns were to die for and the steak was delicious. Serving size and price also fantastic. If we didn't live 4hrs away we would be eating here all the time.

Wandered down the deserted main street on a Sunday night, Donald Hotel serves up a decent feed and a few beers, enjoy it in the bar with a few locals and a good yard 10/10

Ok the food like girllll my soul almost come out and that's how delicious the food is...I mean if I'm Gordon Ramsay I'll respond like if people not coming here...nothing wrong with the food but only people...the salad is so fresh that I can almost taste the angel ...anywho ...loving it....the chips is crispy like sugar daddy (money cash food) wish I have one...ok bye my stomach is dancing....

Went here over two nights, was incredibly impressed with the food, hospitality and the overall atmosphere of the Donald. The team really go above and beyond in making you feel welcome and part of the town.
Throwing money on the ceiling is definitely a huge standout!

The steak is excellent value, with awesome portion sizes, Parma is definitely home made and really shows their passion.

Would very happily come here again, and would really recommend the Donald to anyone else passing through!

Stopped in for a scheduled break on a 9hr coach trip at 2am - coffee was beautiful, toilets spotless - and greeted by lovely Mel - perfect place to stop.

Am still new to Donald and thought it was time to check it out so initially 3 of us went there for lunch and a cold pint.

Decent menu with good prices and the food was delicious.
The beer was nice and cold and the service friendly with a smile.
The decor and premises were inviting and spotlessly clean.

Have been back a few times since for a meal or a beer and tonight took my partner who also enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere.

Mel the proprietor is a lovely person and even drove my car home so I could enjoy a few extra beers.
That is what you call top service.

Overall a very welcoming and pleasant experience and will definitely be going back for more and more.

Highly recommend for travellers or locals alike.

The Staff are great to open in the middle of the night for the vlines (thanks Mel youre the absolute best 👌🥰)

The coffee and food are perfect. Prices are great and the facilities like toilets always spotless and well stocked.

Service was friendly, prices for meals reasonable. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. A note of interest on my meal: almost everywhere you order a meal with chips and salad, the salad is an afterthought. My meal came with TWO salads - pasta and a surprisingly descent green salad. Delicious!

Stayed there a while back. Had been in the truck for a while, allowed us to park the truck in the the back for the night, nice hot shower and probably the best steak I've ever had. Service and atmosphere is second to none. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great little pub, Pool Table in the smokers garden 🤙 Awesome food and excellent friendly staff, 15 min happy hour on Fridays 😳 Free beer if you can time it right 🙏 and walking distance from the local swimming pool (freee as well)

Parked the caravan out the back of the Hotel. Safe & secure area. Free !
Very friendly hosts. Had wonderful meals..both well cooked. Porterhouse Steak & a Parma, both with vegies.
Mention of Kooka biscuit factory down the road we visited the next morning & loaded up with delicious cookies.
Highly recommend.
