Perfect place for those looking to spend time in nature... absolutely gorgeous with beautiful birds and flowers. The variety of vegetation present is shocking. I spent more time looking at the flora and fauna, which is why the trails take time. The landscape on Ted Errey circuit is easy for the most part, rough patches for about 25% of the circuit.

Went through the incredible pathways (fun on MTB🤩) to the Dam Wall. Beautiful scenery and peaceful walks, very walkable for all ages!

Stoney creek picnic area in the Brisbane ranges. Unreal walks. Some large walks and also shorter walks 1hr of less. Plenty of parking available

This is a well maintained picnic ground in the Brisbane Ranges. There are toilets, picnic tables, wood fire barbecue pits (bring your own wood) and a gas bbq (fees apply). As this is on a National Parks, cats and dogs are not allowed, nor are motorbikes (off the main tracks) or horses. There are no camping sites here, or rubbish bins. So you have to rake your rubbish home with you.
There are several walking tracks (no mountain bikes allowed on the walking tracks) rang in ng from an easy 500m, to a 41km, 3 day (one way) and lots in between.
Close to Geelong you can easily use it as destination for a short trip, or a toilet and lunch stop as part of a longer drive.
