Casa Allegra Trentham

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 day weekend at Casa Allegra. An annual weekend away for 10 girlfriends. Having the 5 king bed rooms each configured to king singles was ideal. The interior is absolutely charming and the grounds are best described as a private park. Every room has a beautiful garden view and fabulous lamps. The equally beautiful studio doubled as a retreat with the ultimate facials and massages from local Catherine. We'll be back in 2025.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing venue with stunning gardens. All of our needs were catered for and the kitchens are really well set up. Our guests really appreciated the warm open fires and electric blankets for our winter retreat.

We recently hosted a Yoga and Meditation retreat at the beautiful Casa Allegra and enjoyed our time immensely in this gorgeous setting. Their stunning garden and home had a very calming energy and added to the charm of our retreat. Their attention to detail is impeccable and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything that we needed was provided for with meticulousness.
The entire process from start to finish with bookings, emails and communication was seamless. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to relax, reset and rejuvenate and I will surely visit again.

Our family, including children, partners and 7 grandchildren (3 weeks to 6yrs) enjoyed a memorable long weekend at Casa Allegra. Leon (Manager) could not have been more helpful going the extra mile to squeeze another king size single bed into the children’s room so they could be together. We had an adults only holiday at Casa Allegra about 7 years ago and I can recommend this large comfortable country house and beautiful garden setting to anyone. Finally there is plenty to do in and around Trentham or just stay ‘at home’ and enjoy the fire and daffodils. Victoria

We had our wedding at this location, and it was magical. The house was amazing, the gardens were impeccable and the venue was a perfect size. Also to add, the beds were so comfortable. Leon was of great assistance to my numerous texts before our event. Highly recommend 👍

Just celebrated my 40th Birthday at Casa Allegra and it was the most amazing venue. The garden was breath taking, the studio so functional and spacious with air conditioning, light filled space with easy access and comfortable furnishings. The house itself was beautifully appointed for my whole family of ten to stay. Everything was clean and beautifully styled with local teas, amazing in house coffee, aromatherapy shower gels and antique touches throughout. It was perfect for my gathering and all my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about the amazing gardens. We loved our stay and will be booking again. Thank you Anna and Miguel for checking on us throughout our party and thinking of ways to make everything run smoothly. The best place I have stayed at and I highly recommend.

Casa Allegra was the perfect place to gather for a celebration as a family group. The property catered for all the needs of our 3 generations, with plenty of space for privacy as well as for combined fun indoors and outdoors.
The house is very beautiful as well as supremely comfortable and both thoughtfully and generously equipped. There is a plentiful supply of glasses, crockery and cutlery, even if the dishwasher is running, a BBQ and lots of wood for the heater and fire pit. We particularly loved eating outside, at the huge table on the covered deck, overlooking the garden.
The expansive garden is wonderful, with large sunny and shady areas, the fire pit and a fantastic, large games room. The games room was an absolute highlight and the children could not believe their luck. Adults and children - we loved it all!
The weather was superb during our recent stay, but regardless of the weather we think Casa Allegra would be perfect.

A fabulous set up for our golfing group - we hired both houses and the studio and loved it all from the smaller sitting rooms through to the large communal areas. Everything was well appointed and, most importantly, worked well - plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware to host a large group and the gardens were gorgeous. The Casas would be great for any group getaway - I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I run a retreats business called Bask and we choose to hold our women's retreats at Casa & Co. The property is exquisite ... spacious, homely, immaculately presented and the gardens make it a true sanctuary! Leon is a delight to deal with and makes my job SO much easier! We will definitely be back time and time again! Thanks for another fantastic weekend!

Our first family weekend in Trentham at Casa Allegra was wonderful.
The house is beautifully furnished and really well equipped .
The weather was pretty chilly but Casa Allegra was cosy and inviting….lovely open fires and gorgeous comfortable beds with electric blankets.
We loved the large studio in the huge garden after returning home from the Spudfest!

We booked Casa Allegra & Casa Andante in Trentham for a weekend this autumn for our family gathering. It was the most beautiful place you could ever imagine. Everything from the time we booked the 2 houses and after was a breeze as the owners were a pleasure to deal with. The houses were spotless and elegantly furnished. Having the garden studio with its wonderful facilities made it easy for everyone to congregate comfortably. The gardens were spectacular and beautifully laid out, making it easy for people to go off in groups or mingle. As we spent a lot of time outside having all the well thought out entertainment areas was perfect. Although the properties are large it felt incredibly private and intimate and the location of it on the high street of Trentham meant an easy walk to everywhere. We will definitely be coming back. It’s a hidden gem.

We all had the best stay at both Casa Allegra and Andante during our Wellness Retreat! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful houses and comfortable beds plus the spectacular gardens. The Garden Studio was stunning and was perfect for the Retreat. Anna, the Host was amazing and really looked after us.
We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this space!

A group of my girlfriends and our daughters spent Mother’s Day weekend at Casa Allegra. We had such a gorgeous time in the most beautiful home! The beds were super comfortable and although it was so cold outside, it was lovely and warm inside!
The garden was magnificent and we had a couple of meals on the large outdoor table in the winter sun.
Anna recommended a chef who cane in and cooked for us on Saturday night. Jochem was next level and we loved our meal.
The house is superbly situated near the Main Street.
We seriously could not fault it and loved our weekend at Casa Allegra in the country!

Little Happy Hut Mobile Bar was recently hired for a wedding at this stunning property. Casa Allegra is beautiful, an idealic place for a wedding, with well kept lawns, the gardens are breathtaking. Accomodation, with open fires, well equipped kitchens, a pool table and even a yoga studio where you may book a well earned yoga retreat getaway. If you want to get away from it all, hold an event or even a wedding, we highly recommend Casa Allegra.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Allegra. Beautifully appointed house, with everything you could possibly want. Fabulous attention to detail, great kitchen/dining area, very comfortable beds, cosy living room with a lovely open fire and great studio. We enjoyed a lovely weekend away with a large group of friends and were all very comfortably accommodated. Very close to the main street of Trentham with all that has to offer. We spent a weekend last month at Casa Allegra, four couples, as you can imagine, everything planned out by the girls.

Despite my reservations about going into Country Victoria, it turned out, it was one of the best weekends away I can recall.

Casa Allegra was opulent, yet relaxed and comfortable. The finishing touches around the property in terms of maintenance and gardens is simply outstanding. In fact, it would be a fantastic venue for a large scale event/party.

From the furnishings to the well appointed kitchen, it is a really well thought out and beautifully presented property. The high quality antiques in the home provide a unique touch and flavor as well.

A really pleasant surprise was Trentham Golf Club. We enjoyed a great round of golf, with better than average hospitality from the club.

Whilst the course is not overly tough, it has plenty of charm and the 16th hole could be included on any championship course in the universe. Simply a brilliant hole and part of a course you could enjoy many times over.

Trentham, the town, has so many great features, the "Cosmo Hotel" as the locals refer to it and the many quirky craft stores presented beyond the rows of deciduous trees and idyllic country charm that is a hybrid of Australiana and Europe, rolled up.

Make sure you book and stay at Casa Allegra though, otherwise you'll miss the best bit.

Where do I begin... This place is nothing short of amazing. A true gem indeed. A well presented property both inside and outside. Everything about this place exudes comfort and luxury. The house is well decorated with every detail taken into account, the rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed. The garden is just immaculate. We had a lovely relaxing and memorable time. Many thanks to the team at Casa Allegra who were very accommodating. Would love to return before too long.

This is by far one of the most elegant places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and staying in. Everything about this home expresses comfort. From the plush beds, to cosy library to well appointed kitchen. Tastefully furnished with original eye catching antiques, each room makes you feel at home. I hired Casa Allegra with the Studio and Casa Andante for my Executive Wellbeing "Elevate You" Wellness Retreat. The properties and gardens were beautifully appointed and maintained as per the photos and descriptions on your site.

There were 14 of us and we utilised Casa Allegra for laughter, chats, meals and connection, Casa Andante around the table for my 3 Step Integrative Mapping Goal Setting System, the Studio for our Meditation and "The Knowing Flow" Vinyasa Yoga sessions and the gardens were so perfect for our leisure time and mindfulness sessions I delivered. We loved it was a quick walk into the Trentham Township and close walking trails.

Emma James Catering was also amazing! We appreciated Leon making sure we had settled in as well as dropping in to light our fires too as we had a cold snap in summer!

I would highly recommend these properties for any social stay or Corporate Wellness Retreat.

We have just had two nights at Casa Allegra and it’s neighbour - 10 women playing bridge with a walk and some lovely meals in between. The accommodation was very charming and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious warm and beautifully decorated. The kitchen very well equipped. I really couldn’t fault it. Thanks.
