Perfect house for a girls weekend away. 5 bedrooms with their own bathroom, nice big kitchen table for dinners and a cosy lounge for a fire and cards. Gorgeous garden and a quick stroll to Trentham and the the rail trail. Have rebooked for next year.

This property is perfect for families or friends wanting to stay together, with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms it provides some privacy if you are not into sharing amenities. The house provides everything you could want, the furnishings are lush and gorgeous and the garden is an absolute delight, perfect for children to play in or to enjoy afternoon drinks. Leon the manager is ready to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

A perfect place to book for a business retreat - with impeccable presentation and cleanliness, lots of character and a very warm charm, really well set up for all seasons with heaters and electric blankets in each room, and great spacious rooms to gather and work. Thank you for having me and my guests back yet again. Highly recommend.

We have been coming to Casa Andante for a few years now for a family catch up. The house and garden are beautiful, a perfect environment for a relax and recharge. Having a bathroom for every bedroom is super convenient. The home is comfortable, well equipped, very clean and only a 5 min walk ( or less ) to town. We keep coming back year after year- we love it!

Casa Andante was recommended to us by the Cosmopolitan Hotel manager and it exceeded our expectations.

You feel at home as soon as you take your first step through the door. The bedrooms have lovely views of the garden. The kitchen and dining area are surrounded by glass doors which give an amazing atmosphere for a group breakfast/lunch.

The house is on High Street, mere steps away from the shops and restaurants.

Anna (the owner) is easy to contact and very responsive.

I found the house and gardens a peaceful haven for my post lockdown, country escape. There is a perfect combination of luxury, style and comfort that makes for a blissful stay. I loved being able to walk into the village to Red Beard bakery, the vegetarian food truck and the produce store to buy delicious goods. Then coming home to light the fire on the chilly nights and waking up to beautiful sunny, clear days. A very special experience.

The most superb house and garden in Trentham in such a wonderful position from town. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms makes this an ideal spot for couples or a group of singles escaping the city. Would highly recommend

Beautiful accommodation in Trentham. There was great thought and care with the facilities provided. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and elegant stay in Trentham. Will certainly be back.

Return trip to Casa Andante, this time with my Book Group friends. What an experience! From the moment we entered the absolutely beautiful house - warm, clean, spacious and inviting with a magnificent garden which captures the sun. Anna is very helpful with recommendations around the area which is most helpful with organising your trip. Will definitely return

The perfect place for our annual bookclub retreat! We love Trentham and we love this house and the one next door (Casa Allegra) and that is why we come back every year! The house is beautifully and interestingly styled, comfortable and cozy. Most bedrooms have their own ensuite which gives everyone their own privacy! We loved the big comfortable couch that fitted all 8 of us very comfortably. The house is situated in walking distance to the township which means we didn't drive anywhere for the whole weekend! The township is the perfect size for a weekend getaway - we enjoyed Du Fermier, Red Beard Historic Bakery, the farmers market, the Cosmopolitan Hotel, the art gallery, and exploring the other shops and cafes. We also like to go on a 6km bush walk to the Radio Springs Hotel for lunch and get the courtesy bus home!

What a perfect weekend staying at Casa Andante in Trentham. The house is situated perfectly a stroll into town ! perfect if you enjoy a wine or two with dinner no need for the designated driver. Trentham is a lovely town to explore with a historic pub, fabulous bakery ( fab coffee and bread) all with in about 1.5 hours from Melbourne.
The house is divine ! you enter into a gorgeous cosy sitting room with enough room for all of us to sit and chat. The kitchen & dining room is off the sitting room and enough space & equipment for our cook up on Friday night. The bed rooms are down the other end of the house which was good for some who wanted an earlier night. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with super comfy beds, clean linen and lovely decore. The bathrooms are spacious, bright with soft towels. The house is really well maintained , fresh & clean. Firewood is stacked by the fireplaces for the chilly nights.
There was enough room for all our cars and bikes. The rail trails are close by and for those wanting to bike ride or walk. A must is the trail to Lyonville through the forest to the old pub.
On the whole a fab weekend and definite must ! and easily accessible from Melbourne. Make sure you visit the farmers market as well.

The photos of this property do not do the place justice. The surrounding gardens were like being in your own personal botanical gardens and the house itself is beautiful and has everything you need for a getaway. Anna was also lovely to deal with. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Anna x

Home away from home and the perfect meeting place for friends. Beautifull interiors elegantly styled with antiques and art. Super comfortable bedrooms each with its own ensuite. The glorious garden beckons you to linger once you’ve investigated the town of Trentham on foot as its all a stones throw away. No need for driving.... now that’s the icing on the cake!

I can’t rave highly enough about Casa Andante in Trentham which sleeps 10 so perfect for our book club anniversary. Every room has been lovingly designed and furnished not only comfortably, but with interesting objets, from the owners’ collection. I look forward to trying other houses in the group on our next away-weekend in the Daylesford Macedon Ranges area.
