Beautiful spot with lots of camping spaces. Enjoyed a long weekend in June camping here. It did get down to zero and very frosty so pack the thermal layers in the cooler months!
Spotted lots of wildlife easily, with kangaroos, wallabies and a large range of birds abundant in the area. We went spotlighting and spotted an adorable glider, and there were cute owl calls overnight. There are lots of big trees around and a few wildflowers starting in June. There's lots of walks but some tracks are a bit overgrown and confusing so be prepared to have to figure out where to go on some routes!
If you want a fire you need to grab a camp-site with a firepit. The firepits have a super handy pot stand that can be swung over the heat. We did some of our cooking on here and worked great.
We had to go out for extra firewood and was easy to get nearby in St Arnaud on a Sunday.
Flushing toilets at the campsite were clean.

Beautiful spot. Plenty of wildlife around. Flushing toilets are always a plus on a camp ground. I spent a really peaceful night there.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Google maps shared location directed others to the found camping spot easily. Wildlife came right by the site. No dogs allowed signs even though several websites say conditional. In 1st week of May you can watch ice form on the tent. The toilet and area was clean, very quiet location.

Great for a getaway. Plenty of spots. Flushing toilets, including wheelchair accessibility (BYO toilet paper). Fire pits with a bbq plate and pot holder (byo wood) also picnic tables. Great to relax, or go on a walkabout. Friendly campers. Reservoir closest to camp is being decommissioned which is a shame, the other reservoir is about a 3 minute drive from camping area for kayaking, swimming or fishing. Also 2wd accessible. No pets allowed.

Spent 2 nights over the weekend with the kids.
Plenty of campsites. Fire in pits only but there's plenty around.
Flushable toilets were clean but bring a light at night there's no power. We all know it's hard to poop in the dark.
Saw some roos in the morning which the kids loved and nice to listen to variety of birds almost all day.
No water in the lake. Apparently it fills after a big rain event but drains shortly later. Saw 3 other campers 1 of which only stopped for lunch and continued on.
Some flat ground around for the kidlets to ride bikes.

Oh and you're supposed to bring your own firewood too.

Great camping area, no water in this camping area, plenty of fire pits, tables and toilets. Great 4wd tracks from basic to medium/hard.
