Pyramid Hill Summit Walk

Great lookout point of the whole region if you climb up the top. It is definetely a climb in some sections to get to the summit, not exactly a path, there are arrows spray painted on the rocks to follow for the easiest route to the top.
There is a short gravel path from the carpark for another lookout also, which is good, but without the 360 view.
Make sure to wear good shoes and sunscreen.

Lovely walk/hike spot, natural phenomenal... pyramid shaped Hill from the distance. Worth the trip off the main road to check it out.

Great walk. Sings for the summit itself were hard to follow and the track to the top poorly maintained. The walk around the hill is excellent.

Lovely walk with interesting history involving Major Mitchell and his exploration party. Public toilets and bbq available.

It was worth the effort , plenty or wild life to see and great views of the surrounding area.

There is only one gas BBQ, but the shelter is nice. Open fireplace in the shelter would be great in winter. Tank water and toilets and bins available. The climb is supposed to be a grade three scramble, but if you take the wrong turn it goes to high school grades real quick.

Relatively moderate climb with a few knarly spots close to the top. Absolutely stunning views of the town and surrounds!

There is a small car park at the base but no toilets from there is a walk for low level fitness to the halfway lookout, after that moderate fitness, agility and good nerves required to clamor over boulders, the 360° view is rewarding.

Having first spied Pyramid Hill from the train many years ago I always wanted to take a closer look. So, when I saw its distinctive shape from the far side of Kow Swamp, I grabbed the opportunity and drove over.
After reading the information board at the car park, I prepared for the summit climb. However, after investigating several possible summit routes from the shoulder area, I opted for the round-the-hill route! I'm sure the views would be amazing from the top, but being on my own, I wasn't prepared to risk an ankle on the scramble.
The circuit walk is well worth doing anyway; fresh air, views and those amazing boulders........
An hour or so later I was looking back at Pyramid Hill from the summit of Mt. Terrick Terrick, Mitiamo.

Gotta climb to the summit at least once in your life..
