A wonderful hidden gem.. the rooms are well maintained and clean. The service is personal and you can tell there is an attention to detail. We had a cooked to order fresh breakfast. With freshly baked scones.

Heytesbury House is the reason for my excellent Cobden experience. It should be listed as a local treasure.

What I'm going to say is going to be icing on the cake, but I still have to say it! Heytesbury House is THE BEST B&B I've ever been in my life! It beats any five star hotels I've ever stayed at as well. In any appreciative eye, you'll see the efforts and love Kathryn and Andrew put in the place. The design, decoration and maintenance are all done in perfection. That's right! This place stands for perfection. No doubt.

The house menu they have is a must mention too. It's very thoughtful of them to provide meal options during the Christmas season. We'd checked there was nothing in Cobden during this time, so we brought sandwiches. We didn't really want to have those sandwiches, so it was music in my ears when Kathryn said 'we have a dinner menu...' It was a brilliant experience having dinner in their dining room too!

Me and my man, we loved Heytesbury House. I can't believe we only paid $236 for the stay and $36 for dinner on Christmas day! I wish I lived near by, so I could go back more often!

We really enjoyed the luxury, aesthetics, and the history of the house. The dinner and breakfast was amazing, especially because breakfast was included in the booking price. We will most definitely want to visit here again.

Went with friends and did the murder mystery package. It was such a fantastic time!! So many laughs and host Kathryn was exceptional. Beautiful accommodation with every little detail thought out perfectly. Highly recommend!

What a find! This stunning weekend was everything we were hoping for and more. Kathryn and Andrew were absolute gems and couldn’t have been more accommodating. They’ve thought of everything in this little oasis - the house itself is gorgeous and comfy and the murder mystery event is an incredibly entertaining way to spend an evening. Our entire group was impressed and looks forward to returning :)

I've been fortunate to stay at Heytesbury House on two occasions while travelling for work. The rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully styled. Kathryn and Andrew are the perfect hosts; they give you all the privacy you need, whilst being attentive to every question, request and detail. My breakfast has been nourishing and delicious on both occasions with generous servings too. I look forward to returning with my wife, as I know she will be very impressed. Highly recommended, and well worth the trip.

We enjoyed our Murder Mystery party immensely. It was the best night. Mum enjoyed her 80th Birthday so much she wants to book for again her 90th. Everyone commented on how good the food was. They also catered for allergy's and for our vegan nephew. He said it was the best vegan meal he had had in a long time. Fantastic hosts who were very welcoming and easily contactable prior to the night with questions about characters etc. Highly highly recommend as a fun night out.

My Partner and I had a great two night stay. My food intolerances were easily catered for and the Shakespeare Suite is simply amazing. Highly recommend! The owners were friendly and helpful when you needed but didn't take up your time.

It is easy enough to travel to beautiful scenic areas or if you're more of a foodie there's a lot of that around too. You will need to plan where you'll have dinner in advance as Cobden is a very small, quiet town but that's easy enough to do.

What a wonderful place on way back to Melbourne from Great Ocean road!! Room and bathroom were so beautiful I just wanted to stay for days. Port and cookies in a room with seats that make you feel like you are in Game of Thrones by a fireplace. Breakfast served in a wonderful dining room and the owners made you feel so comfortable and at home. Delightful restaurant within walking distance at Thompsons and food was great. Highly recommend this as place to stay on way back to Melbourne from Great Ocean road.

Really nice old house to stay in. I haven never been in this kind of old style house, this is a precious experience. But just at night it gets a bit spooky if coming back at night and night is not on haha. Probably will come back again if travel in this area.

Every time I come down the coast I stay here. Absolutely luxury, and breakfast to die for! They set the standard for me, and their friendly attitude is always welcoming, thanks Kathy and Andrew for a great B&B, in the true sense of Bed and Breakfasts...

What a gem to find on a tour of the south west of Victoria.
Great rooms, food and incredible hosts. The gardens top it all off. Quite remarkable quality for the small town of Cobden. I’ll be back
