Driftwood Cafe & Kiosk

The chef is amazing! I was visiting from Brisbane for a few weeks and came regularly. All the different burgers and fish and chips were delicious everytime! The staff were very friendly plus the atmosphere while catching that view of the ocean was devine!
Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if you are visiting Elliot Heads

I've been staying in Elliott all week and I visit the Driftwood cafe daily for a morning coffee and hash brown. We also stopped in for fish and chips twice.

Firstly, the almond milk latte was great on every single visit! I love the colorful bio cups they use too. Also, the best hash browns I've ever had, so crispy!

In terms of the fish and chips, what amazing value! We had the fisherman's basket for 2 people and it was around $25. We could barely get through it, you also get 2 soft drink cans included in that price. Would definitely recommend this cafe, I'll be grabbing a coffee as we leave town tomorrow morning.

Beautiful spot and lovely staff. Come several times a week for a morning coffee before walking on the beach. Coffee is always good! They also have a good selection of non-dairy milks. I get hot chips from here at least once a week too. My friend loves getting the red emperor and chip combo. Definitely recommend!

Neally didn’t eat here with some of the reviews but so glad we did as our flathead and chips for $11 each was generous, delicious and excellent value. The 3 flathead with crunchy panko crumb was the tastiest I’ve had in a while and the battered version was light with no sogginess as many can be, well cooked chips too. Probably the only thing for us was not enough salt but extra sachets were available.
Staff were friendly and our fresh and hot meal served in under 15 mins, which wasn’t a problem when the view is so stunning. Plenty of seating options with kiddies park close by.

We had great toasted sandwiches, BLT and chocolate milkshake - perfect lunch by the water. Friendly service and good food - fabulous!

Best organic coffee & scoop ice cream.
Had fish & chips a few times they are the best in town.

Just arrived at Elliott heads for the first time and decided fish and chips for dinner.

Walked over to the cafe and was totally looked after by the lady manager.

She was so delightful to talk to and the fish and chips are the best we have had for a longtime.

Great after a fairly long drive today.

We ate there twice on our stay at elliot Heads caravan park. Both times we experienced lovely service and the food was just what you would expect for great takeaway on the beach. Great prices. Yum yum.

Called to order takeaway seafood basket but unfortunately off the menu which was understandable considering it was 5.30 on a Saturday nite . Plan b ordered the drift works burger and this was the best burger I have had in a long long time . Mince rissole were obviously made in house , was cooked and seasoned to perfection . There was red onion, beetroot , pineapple , lettuce , tomato, bacon and egg on a nice round hamburger roll . Cost $11.50 and defineatley worth the money 👏👏👏

They gave our food to someone else and remade it and refined us 100% too!!

Just had the best cheeseburger for breakfast. I’d share a photo but it’s already been eaten 🙃🙊 Heres a picture of our view outside instead. Ideal location for snacks when you’re at the beach and conveniently located across from the holiday park (where we’re staying). We brought lots of food with us but haven’t cooked yet 😆

Lovely setting, great chef who cooked us the most awesome breakfast which was not only worth the price, but was cooked to perfection.

We arrived early and had time for something to eat while we waited for Andrew from 'Undertow Surf & Kite' to do some kite surfing in this beautiful little place. The food was a good price, was made in a timely fashion and was a very generous serving. Thank you, couldn't ask for more :)

Had an awesome feed. After reading the reviews we were all very hesitant but after getting our wide range of food. It was absolutely delicious. Fast friendly service. Definitely worth the visit and will be coming back.

Best Bacon and egg roll I've had in years... truely amazing! If you're about in Elliott Heads, treat yourself.

Fish and chips were really good and so was the bacon and egg burger it was cooked and made like a bacon an egg burger should be done

We were very impressed with the perfectly cooked fish & chips, the reasonable prices, the friendly service and of course the amazing location! Will definitely be back!

Food was fresh and good quality. The service was friendly. Everything was ready quite quickly. Good area to sit and eat plus the view of the beach is great.

When it comes to fish and chips, this place is on point. Fantastic value and taste to match.
