SPAR Express Maryborough

I love this shop! It’s a 2 minute walk from our house so we go there at least 3x a week. This store has a great selection and decent variety of everything you could possibly need. Milk, fresh bread, juice, lunch meats, cooking sauces, lots of snacks, ice creams, soda pop, iced coffees, cheese, etc etc…if you need it, most likely it’s there. And their hot food? Oh my, so good!! Hot chickens & chips (& gravy), scallops, amazing hot sandwich rolls, cold sandwiches and treats, plus your standard sausage rolls and pies and such. If they are out of something in the hot case then they will make it for you. Their prices are average but not outrageously expensive like many small shops. Watch their sales ads too, they have great deals. Then there’s the staff…ALWAYS so friendly, cheerful, and kind. They have lotto also. You can’t go wrong with this shop, you’ll be happy you stopped in!

We have gotten to know Jig and his staff, they are very accommodating and have a great range of groceries, hot foods and fresh sandwiches.
Great one stop shop, with great staff.
Easy parking as well, for quick stop purchases.

5 stars to this little gem, Jig and the team are so friendly and welcoming. A lot of other shops could learn a thing or two from these guys. Great product selection and priced very well. 5 stars from me.

Love this place great staff, do not push me to leave the checkout. I am very slow. Good product range especially the fruit cakes and Burton's milk

Fantastic, friendly service with a smile no matter if it’s 5am or as the doors are closing at night. Clean and tidy and prompt service. They’re open when you need them and sad to say, a lot of other businesses should take a page from these guys in customer service

Stop here occasionally on my way back to Brisbane never had an issue with the wraps and sandwiches, always fresh.

Just bought something that cost me nearly $5 more than yesterday.talk about overnight price hikes 😡

Got spoken Rudely by a staff member tonight, staff member screaming at me shop is closed. I didn't see sign on the door, but it's still says on the shop signage open til 8:30pm. Same staff member three times over the weekend refused to cook any food for my brother when he went to the shop at 5 pm during each visit. Staff told him burners are off for rest of the day and they will not be cooking after 5pm.
