Mr Chow - Authentic Asian Cuisine

Mr Chow’s Restaurant is very clean and tidy and deco is simple & good. His staff are very well presented and courteous and service was very good. His foods are authentic Asian Chinese cuisine and given portion of food was very generous and he even came out to said hello to us 👍 it was very crowded that night and yet we don’t have to wait long to get our foods being served. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended 👍🥂

Great Asian food, it did come out a little slower than expected but because of the quality of the food it is expected. We went there for dinner and got the nasi goreng, tom yum soup, green curry, flounder and a beef dish. The green curry was great and so was the tomyum and flouder. However I do have one complaint and that was that the dishes aren't rly that spicy so next time I will definitely ask for extra spice.

Funnily enough, my Snapchat AI recommended this place for dinner and she got it right!
Our main meals were superb. Very fresh and the meat was extremely tender.
The 3 of us shared a Special Fried Rice, Chicken Cashew Nut dish, Sweet and Sour Pork and Beef in Ginger and Shallots.
It's BYO wine, which helps with the total bill, but you can also purchase a range of drinks there.
They also offer take away if you prefer.
Free parking as it's in the little shopping village and you can dine inside or outside.
As it gets busy, we recommend making a reservation if you want to sit inside. It's a lovely dining experience with the white table cloths and beautiful cutlery.
They finished the meal with a fortune cookie and we even got to meet Mr Chow, who was super lovely!

Excellent service, greeted with a smile from all staff who took care of us.
Loved the authenticity, homely atmosphere.
Our food was delicious cooked perfectly, generous portion sizes.

What a gem of a restaurant.
Big serves of Authentic Asian Cuisine with delicious entrees also at reasonable prices.
It's always nice to eat in a cool place during the summer months but this particular day, the air-conditioning needed to be cooler as it was stifling at times, but that's only a minor issue where the lovely lady looking after our table of ten tried to rectify. If all meals were brought out within a reasonable time frame, it would be much better.
Conveniently located at Runaway Bay with plenty of off street parking.
I highly recommend Mr.Chow whether you eat in or take away.

Taste was fresh with loads flavour. Mongolian lamb was delicious with loads of veggies and just the right amount of sauce. Also had crispy duck which was amazing in every way. Will definitely be returning :)

At the Gold Coast on holiday and stumbled upon this place and thank goodness we did. We ordered the salt n pepper calamari, bbq pork, chicken & cashew, pad see ew, coconut rice and the chicken & sweet corn soup - everything was absolutely delicious and flavoursome. The staff were lovely, the restaurant had a highchair, and the food came quickly. The whole family is sad we live so far away otherwise we'd be back weekly.

Great variety of delicious Asian cuisine. Yum! Well priced and great service. The whole family left full and very happy. Kids loved the deserts too! Definitely will be back. Thanks Mr Chow!

If you are from NZ you'll appreciate this place! Only restaurant I've found that makes it as good as back home, reminds me of going to the local take away store. The BBQ pork is amazing and combination fried rice is delicious. Definetly worth trying the salt and pepper prawns, satay chicken, chicken cashew and curry puffs.
The restaurant team are all so friendly and a pleasant experience everytime. They also do local delivery.

Absolutely loved the ginger and shallot chicken and coconut rice.

First time at Mr Chows for us tonight, very impressed, fresh, hot, Authentic, tasty food. Clean and welcoming. Thank you, we shall definitely return.

Usually a tasty meal with loads of chicken, veges and cashew nuts. Have had a few takeaways as well as dine in. Has usually been consistently good food and great value with generous servings but our last couple of takeaways have been disappointing. Last night we bought our usual Chicken and cashew nut stirfry. Usually the service is good but last night had to wait approx half an hour after placing the order in person - had to go and check to see if they were making my order as they seemed to have forgotten my order. The cashew nuts were badly burnt - they were a bit burnt on our previous order but this time they were inedible. Had asked for extra sauce as per my usual order but the sauce was minimal. Very disappointed as this has always been a favourite dish and restaurant for us.

The photo tells a story, great food generous portions and great flavour, even met Mr Chow!! Had a great night will be back!!

We had takeaway from here for the first time tonight. I thought it was a new restaurant but found out tonight it has been trading for a year. I have to say......the food was the best we have had in a very long time. Please please keep up the good work. 5 stars from us tonight.

I got a take away tonight, Mr Chow first time. It was beautiful, we have enough for 2 nights, plenty of meat in both dishes selected.wish I could have bought an extra serving of vegetables, for the price of starter. Would have had to buy a vegetarian dish.

Very impressed. The service was quick and friendly. The food came out fast and hot. The ingredients tasted fresh, authentic, and the meats were cooked to perfection. The rendang melted in my mouth and the peanut chicken tasted like I was back home in Malaysia. Will definitely come back again. Bonus points as the chef personally came out and spoke with us during the meal to check if everything was ok.

A very friendly family owned restaurant. The tasty food brings back the beautiful memory which my mum used to prepare on dinner table when we were teens. On site free parking added extra star for the ease of accessibility.
