A must visit. Well worth the drive. Food, hospitality, Gin and Venue are all world class. Don't expect a quick visit you will be staying for more then a cocktail or two while grazing on a beautiful cheese board.

Our absolute favourite !!! The food, service and atmosphere always amazing, staff are super lovely and always so helpful. The gin is superb and we have loved seeing this place build such a great following since they opened.

Such a unique experience. The ribs were to die for and proper roast potatoes which is rare in a restaurant. Will be our special place and will be returning

Was passing by and discovered this absolute bush haven. Doubled back after driving past it and couldn't have been happier with the choice to do so. The super helpful and friendly staff go hand in hand with the awesome setting and atmosphere. Definitely will be getting back there again when possible. Rating this as one of the best places that I have eaten at, very much enjoyed the surroundings both inside and out. Top class

First time visiting and loved it! It was even better that we could bring our dogs. The Gin tasting was great. Staff very friendly and informative. Certainly recommend.

We had a lovely day out, the staff where exceptional we had a young gentleman as our waiter he was super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, however all the staff where lovely and gave us some great tips on how to use our Gin. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food sensational especially the sausage rolls.

We chose The Farmers Wife Distillery to celebrate our elopement and we had the most magnificent day! We enjoyed sensational gin cocktails and the most beautiful meals! But it was the atmosphere and the warmth of the wonderful team that truly made our day.

The food was excellent and the gin's even better. The outdoor seating area has great views and the building is well presented with lots of lovely items to purchase. There is a variety of breakfast options to choose from and the highlight is the gin tasting. The gins are truly unique and have a distinctive flavour I've not tasted anywhere else. I highly recommend a visit to The Farmer's Wife Distillery, and if you can't make it in person, buy some gin online and enjoy it at home.

The venue is very nice, well presented and visually appealing. However, as a consequence of the design it does result in the noise bouncing around with a bit of an echo. Food was good, gin was enjoyable. The host was pleasant and genuinely cared about us having a good time and taking care of us. Our waitress did not share the same level of enthusiasm and forgot we were there half the time.

We loved this experience. We came with camp chairs, small camp table & little umbrellas that attached to our chairs for shade. We bought one of every cocktail & food box. We forgot to buy sorbet. We enjoyed our time picnicking & listening to the music. It was great catching up. On our way there, we found a camping place close by, so next time we will book in there, instead of driving back to Sydney. Thank you so much for having us!

Fabulous event loved the fact there weren’t long queues for anything including the toilet! Food was delicious and good value, we were in a large party from Hawks Nest and we’ll be back. Thank you for a great day, all in all relaxing and well organised . Music was enjoyable too 🎵💃🍸

We drove 50 minutes from Nelson Bay, had a beautiful brunch, ordered the gin tasting board which was presented and explained beautifully. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Congrats to Kylie and the team at The Farmers Wife Distillery. We will be back.

A must place to visit. We have been a few times for lunch but this time we went for breakfast and it was perfect. The staff are all so lovely and go beyond in service. The food is exceptional. The coffee is the best ive had for a long time. A really special place.

Awesome experience - Venue has a great atmosphere, food is beautiful & service is tops. Although; twice visited and twice missed out on the anticipated lamb shoulder we are very happy to go back a 3rd time for it!
Highly recommended to all as I wasn’t a massive Gin drinker but since have a newly found appreciation as the distillery products are sincerely divine -The 4 seasons Gin flight (tasting) is a must.

Stunning! I was not expecting it to be so spacious, modern and scenic. The food was delicious and priced according to what you would expect to pay at a winery or classy restaurant. There is a lovely outdoor dining area too. I will 100% return and bring friends and family. Lots of parking.

Absolute must to go to. Food and service was outstanding. An exceptional restaurant with amazing attention to detail, even down to the bathrooms which were impeccably clean. Even if it’s a detour to get there… do it. You won’t regret it.

Our first time at the Farmer's Wife and we were most impressed with both the food and the setting. Service was very good. Despite their electronic failure they did their very best and we were not inconvenienced at all. Overall a pleasant experience and we will certainly return some time.
