Walk with the Birds boardwalk

This spot is one of the features of Dorrigo National Park. It's an elevated walkway up amid the trees of the rainforest. It's an easy walk from the Glade Picnic Area (not very far past the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre). The experience of walking up amid those beautiful trees and seeing the birds is very special. Since the walk is short, it's easy to combine it with with other hikes in this spectacular park.

Great views of the hills. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the ocean. Take your time and keep your ears open for birds and other animals.

Now reopened. Beautiful rainforest walk on exceedingly well maintained paths. Plants and variety of birds fantastic.

I loved this place went I went there few years ago. Cant wait to go back one day.

Amazing NP! Easy walk but so beautiful

Ganz toller Boardwalk durch den Urwald mit besonders vielen Vögeln.

Not sure the elevation helps much, you see just as many birds at ground level. Nevertheless, it's good to get a different perspective, and it's just part of the longer wonga walk which is amazing overall.

Nice scenic walk, but I reckon that we saw more birds on Womba Walk! 🦜

Very disappointing. I did not see any birds there. Except for brush turkeys, but we have these in Sydney as well.

Currently still closed for reparations on 8/07/2021. Though there did not seem to be any men at work.

Closed for non existent repairs apparently.. notified only when reaching boardwalk..
