Surf Fuel Cafe

Love love love. The food is so well put together and the standard has been sit really high for a cafe in a campground. I love the fusion vibe of the menu with sauces like miso, chilli jam etc. Very thing I tried were delicious. Homemade kombucha is also a must try. So refreshing and yummy. And the cafe deco and the big bird cage (so special) is another bonus. A must go if near the area. Such a hidden gem.

Service and atmosphere is 11/10, the staff are so friendly and chill, and outdoor seating is very nice! There is also an enclosed area with little birds that can keep you occupied while you wait for the food and drinks.
Food is reasonably priced! Ordered a chicken 'karaage' burger with chips and it was delicious, but chips were on the oily side for me. Would definitely visit again to try other food and drinks as there are a variety of options to choose from.

Great little cafe in a peaceful setting within Waves Camp Ground 10kms south of Crescent Head. Wholesome food and good prices. Highly recommended!

Scott & Katie have fuelled me with more delicious meals than my little belly can even handle. They are so passionate about what they do and have done an amazing job with building the Surf Fuel Cafe to what it is today. With a great respect to the environment they bring you proper coffees and an always changing menu full of amazing food. Waves Campground is so lucky to have you.

I could tell you all about how they catered several weddings and events at the campground - and rocked at it -, how they keep me alive with yummy food and cold drinks during long reception days, but my highlight is definitely my anniversary dinner. I met Kit on campsite 15 and what better way to celebrate that day than with a candle & fire lit dinner for two right there. I took this idea to Scott & Katie and they took it to the next level. All I had to do is keep the secret, set the table and next thing I know it we are sitting down, all smiles and eating an incredible 3 course meal, each course happily served at our table. What a night!

Discover amazingness! Went here for their curry night and the atmosphere, food and staff is joyous. The delicious curry and yummy Kombucha was a winning combination with the perfect amount of heat and full of depth of flavour. Magic thanks guys!

Awesome food, Awesome coffee, Awesome location and most of all Awesome crew! Why wouldn’t you be rushing down to these guys for your needs! Surf fuel is located at Waves campground which is a short walk to delicate Nobby surf brake. Do yourself a favour and grab a wonderfully crafted coffee and a tasty snack and relax in the surrounding area. Thank you guys for always being there when I needed you the most (coffee addict) and when my belly was rumbling. Everything was top notch and I won’t be hesitating to tell everybody to get down to Fronds!!

Incredible cafe. Not only is it nestled within an amazing campsite with direct access to a beautiful beach, it also serves some excellent food. We come back here for the nachos every time we are in the area. Couldn't ask for a more friendlier service as well. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem. We came here a couple of times over the holiday weekend because we needed to get away from the hustle & bustle of Crescent Head. This is such a chill place to grab a bite, the people, food and setting are all very nice - great vibe!

Scott and Katie catered for a family event at Big Hill Cottages in late September this year with a Mexican feast for 26 adults and 7 children. Our group included vegans, vegetarians and regular eaters. Everyone was extremely happy with both the food and the service. Scott and his crew set up the feast and then Scott stayed on and cooked extra meat, and made sure everyone was satisfied. After the event he cleaned up and left us with any remaining food. We would definitely use (Fronds Food), Scott and Katie again. Jenny Hancox

Brilliant cafe! If you are on the Plomer Road it's certainly worth a stop. Great coffee and food. A hidden gem!

All I can say is that the coffee was redicously good, i mean better then melbourn good!
And the food on point especially the egg and bacon roll. Some mornings I dont think i could of made it through the day (hungover). but after smashing a coffee and roll i was out surfing 6 ft waves no worries ! Perfect name for the kiosk.

Coffee awesome, milkshakes great, breakfast delicious. Friendly, great atmosphere good food. Raw treats delicious and refreshing. Smoothie good juice good to.
