Ive read some of the 1 and 2 star reviews and thankfully ignored them. This was a great little pub restaurant- my chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked with a great selection of accompanying vegetables and excellent value for money. Service was prompt and friendly. Do yourself a favour and try it!

The food was excellent, the beer fresh & cold, the staff were friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Had the chicken parmigiana and it was one of the best I have ever had, staff were nice and friendly. Updated, have been a few times now. Best oysters I have ever have, lady that runs the place very friendly and chef incredible, one of the best pubs for food I have been in years.

Really not sure why everyone is complaining about the service the staff were perfectly civil; offering us a table closer to the fire, and the food was really great. I had a huge bowl of roast veggies & chips (being a vegan) and they were delish. People need to get down off their high horses and be realistic about their expectations when travelling out of urban areas. This is a quirky pub in rural Tassie with good food, cold beer and the fire is warm.

Since the new manager took over, I’ve absolutely loved the great service. Such an improvement.

What a brilliant little pub. Cozy, warm, brilliant service, great meals. So underrated and deserves more airtime in this part of Tasmania. Make the trip to this little pub, you won't be hungry!

The chicken parmigiana and schnitzel were excellent value for the portion size and quality. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and quiet with plenty of parking.

What a great little pub. Really friendly and the meals were awesome. A definite must if you are in the Port Arthur area.

Staff were absolutely amazing and the meal was huge and delicious. Would definently recommend stopping in here. Thanx guys what a lovely experience to end the day!
