Dairy Flat Farm Holidays

We have just spent the weekend at Dairy Flat Farm Holidays and it was an absolute magical experience. Welcoming hosts, comfortable accommodation and endless experiences for all. Our youngest loved being able to feed the calves and see the workings of a real dairy farm. Highly recommend.

A special thank you to Louisa for including us and letting us interact with the cows. The cottage was picture perfect and very cosy. We knew to bring all of our own food, blankets and the cottage has all of the cooking facilities that we needed. The weekend we stayed was very cold but they’d provided a radiator, air-conditioning unit and plenty of logs for the fire. We stayed very toasty and warm during our stay. No signal or TV was just what we needed. A great place to relax and turn off from the world for a weekend.

We had a family weekend at Dairy Flat Farm in June 2018. The countryside is absolutely beautiful and the main house has a wonderfully grand and warm homestead charm. Whether you are sitting in front of the fire in the main lounge, eating breakfast on the expansive verandas, listing to the birds and taking in the beautiful rose gardens and lawns, cooking together on the old cooker (there is a wonderfully modern gas cooker too!), playing tennis on the full sized tennis court or watching farmer Bruce milk the cows and feed the baby calves, Dairy Flat Farm is an absolute delight!! The main house comfortably sleeps 12, so it is the perfect spot for a family retreat or a get together with your friends. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed here over the Easter Break and it was the best! Completely off the grid in the middle of no where with no reception - just what we needed. Picturesque views of the mountains and animals. Can’t wait to go again!

Had a fantastic weekend at the farm recently. My 2 year old loved all the space and the abundance of animals. Watching the cows being milked was a highlight for all. The accomodation is well kept, clean, comfortable and the countryside is spectacular.

We had our family get together at the dairy flat farm. We had 4 generations from 3 months to 75 years old.
The big house was the centre of the weekend and was absolutely marvellous. Plenty of room for a large family to have a great weekend without technology.

The 2 bed room cottage was ideal for those that didn’t have small kids and had a great night sleep (the bed was really comfortable).

Thoroughly recommend, and we are go8ng to organise a Xmas in July next year as well.

There is something truly special about Dairy Flat. A haven where the pace is slower, the people are calmer, the air is clearer and you can disconnect from the outside world. It is impossible not to feel relaxed, reconnected and rejuvenated at this special place.

Great place to visit.

Interesting! clean and tidy enough perhaps rustic ( which is what you would expect) dont count on internet or radio coms. A little close to the road , but not a huge trafic noise problem.
