Monte's Lounge

Excellent food and service. Tapas menu, 3 for $20, Kangaroo skewers perfectly cooked, veggie tapas, and arancini balls absolutely perfect. Ordered a side of chips, deliciously seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft potato on the inside. Decided to try the brownie with ice cream for dessert - just decadent. Served warm with chocolaty goodness, vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon. A meal that left me happy, stuffed (had to take away half of each plate for a future meal) and excited to come back and try more things from their menu.

Sensational little venue tucked away on Todd Street within an easy stroll from the mall and council gardens. Great selection of craft beers, wines, and spirits. The food is to die for - try the Chicken Mesquite and thank them after.

For me, the real attraction is the music and entertainment. Live, original music featuring local and touring artists, Sunday sessions with pumping bangers provided by local community radio 102.1FM 8CCC fortnightly, trivia on Thursdays, and all manner of other events, many with a Spanish flavour (as the name Monte's suggests).

Fun night out with my Contiki group for our last night. The food service was impressively quick, the weather cover is good and the staff are always on hand to provide you with any additional needs.

On a hot summers night...or any night in Alice, this is the place to come. My partner labels it "the place that looks like something out of Fallout 4" and I couldn't agree more. It's got a cool, retro feel to it, rough in places but cosy. Seems good for families with a play area and oh my Lord...the food is sublime! Tapped beer could be better but no bother really

Monte's is a very casual place to go for a great burger (vegan options available too!) and a drink with friends. Long benches in the outdoor area as well as more seating inside.
Go up to the bar and order your meals and drinks and the friendly staff will bring it out to your table.
You have to try the battered chips!
Located close to town centre and major hotels. Cash and cards.
People with mobility issues will be fine as it is all on one level, however a smaller indoor table is probably a better option that the tall benches outdoors.

Super quirky bar in Alice Springs. It's decor is like that of a circus! Great, happy service! Beer is super frothy and cold! We loved it here and felt like locals after a few bevies! Highly recommend x

Total blast - clearly Monte's is a popular place for a Friday night! Great way to wind down after a busy week. Menu is fabulous and the food so tasty. Loved the service from the energetic and friendly staff. Had a super time!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Alice. I've never been disappointed in the food or the service here. I highly recommend the 'roo Skewers, but you wont' be disappointed with anything on their menu. The atmosphere is really great too, 5 star food in a bohemian carnival type setting.

The place to be !!!!! I don't use to post reviews on Google maps or so, but this time I had to do it! Such a welcome, we fell like kings, best service ever. The staff was friendly and ok to handle my group of students. Dealing with 25 persons isn't that easy! But I'd highly recommend this place! The quantities was generous and quality very appreciated. Ow wait, i haven't told you about the atmosphere on this Thursday : chilled, relaxed and so goood ! (Live music).

Absolutely loved the vibe here. Super nice staff, vibrant collection of folks (felt like just the local scene), and a very good selection of beers (even if only a few on tap). We ended up spending our entire evening here just hanging out.

What a nifty place! Trendy like the bars I’ve seen in Sydney except better because it’s not self concious with its vibe. Gay friendly af too

Love Monte's always a great place to relax and unwind with a pint of the most recent locally brewed beer changes regularly so a great place to make "your local"

Great place to sit in the sun and relax on a Sunday afternoon. A tasty Schnitty and a cold beer...can't ask for too much more. Not the cheapest place in town, but friendly staff and good food make it a good place to visit
