The Loch Events

On Sunday 7 April we went to The Loch for their Festival of the Roast. An amazing 7 course menu with a range of meats including wild rabbit and venison, served up to 71 guests at a long table that extended the full length of the verandah. Each course was matched with a Southern Highlands cool climate wine. A beautiful day and a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon looking over the garden. Recommend keeping an eye out for these lunches that Brigid puts on each season. At other times they are open one day a week - on Sunday from 10 - 4 for morning tea and lunch. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing place. Food and wine is great. Just make sure to dress warmly in winter as it can get cold (they do have some warm blankets though)

A great restaurant surrounded by nature, away from the big smoke. The food is amazing, almost entirely sourced locally (from the beverages, to the meat, the yabbies, the veggies...) and cooked to perfection in very original ways.
The staff is very professional and welcoming, and Brigid can tell you all the best wineries and breweries and places to visit in the Southern Highlands.
I would really recommend this place to all the foodies and all the families, couples or group looking for a great feed and a bit of fresh air away from the city.

Our party of 5 chose the 3 course menu and we were all satisfied. I have a wheat allergy so this was taken into account as we progressed. The food is so good! When ordinary cuts of meat are treated with such fine technique you feel you are eating the best cuts - that's something!

We just had the tasting plate for lunch due to a large breakfast beforehand, but by the looks of what we saw being brought out from the kitchen and the obvious enjoyment of all those who were having lunch, we’ll come back with empty bellies. Our tasting plate was so fresh and tasty and seeing the garden from where the food came from made it all the more better. And we won’t be able to resist the cake display a second time!

An amazing Jimmy Barnes performance last night at this terrific venue. Everything was fantastic, to be so close to the band even the back row was only 30 feet away. Such a beautiful spot, food and drinks were great too. We have never before been to such a terrific performance and we go see Jimmy Barnes many times for many years, this was the best ever.

Had the full degustation at the Autumn Foodie Field day and loved the journey to the Loch through the Southern highlands . Great atmosphere, hidden away and quiet. Food was exceptional and the service superb. My wife and I had an anniversary lunch and it was perfect. highly recommended.

We were recommended to go to THE LOCH.. . What a wonderful surprise. The garden was beautiful, Sitting on the veranda in the Autumn sun, the food was to die for . Had the pleasure to meet the owners and find out their story on this amazing property. Was the best spot to bring our Sydney friends for lunch.

A fabulous way to spend a Sunday Afternoon.
Kate was her beautiful wonderful self, her voice just gets better and better. She is so funny, so warm and makes you feel as if we are all just one big happy family. The Loch served a wonderful 3 course lunch, staff were excellent. I look forward to many more afternoons at The Loch.

Can’t fault it! Unpretentious, warm and cozy accomodation and simply amazing home style cooking with flair. We have enjoyed many a Sunday lunch at The Loch and we’re lucky enough to enjoy a weekend there recently.... we didn’t want to leave! We will be back for sure.

Saturdays Leo out of Loch down was one of the best nights out EVER!!! Bridget and her team were out of this world, the food was wonderful, and of course Leo Sayer was on top form, cant wait for the next round.......

Meals were excellent, great dining areas (we used the verandah as it was a nice day). Farm tour was interesting and educational. Lovely hosts and staff. Thank you.

Modern take on local food, paddock to plate scene. Fine dining service, but casual, definitely not pretentious. Excellent small selection of interesting local wines

Excellent service, particularly attractive surroundings on a patio overlooking the gardens; the tasting plate was generously stocked with a variety of choices so will certainly pay another visit.

Very impressed. Such a friendly and welcoming environment. Staff were beautiful, food was stunning and gardens were gorgeous. Already can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

Incredible tasting plates and warm ambience that is too good to not come back for. Went down for the day and will stay down for the night next time! Can’t recommend the place to enough!

What a beautiful and special place! The customer service from the staff is superb! Especially from Merylin, so friendly and attentive. Great coffee and sweets!

The accomodation is just superb - nothing is out of place, and nothing is forgotten. Food is absolutely delicious and served with a smile. Highly recommend!

SPENT TWO NIGHTS THERE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR A WEEKEND AWAY IN THE SOUTHERN HIGHLAND OWNER WAS VERY GOOD COOK AND GREAT LOCATION AND ROOMS WE HIRED THE WHOLE PLACE ALL ROOMS WILL DO AGAIN MUCH THANKS.
