We broke down in Copley on a Saturday afternoon. They looked at our car that afternoon and diagnosed the problem. On the Tuesday they transported the car, caravan and my husband and I to Port Augusta. Excellent service in such a small town.

Great customer service. The team went above and beyond to help us with a new tyre after we had a puncture. We also got fuel from here a couple of times on our trip. Very friendly people. Thanks for your help. Definitely recommend for tyre repair/new tyres in the area. We also liked the tyres out the front stacked up and painted like Minions.

Leaving Copley yesterday morning and the starter motor stopped. The guys were wonderful. Very helpful and obliging. The young man was very helpful and kindly hitched the camper trailer.
The best service anyone could ask for.

We stumbled across these guys as we were trying to find someone on a Saturday afternoon (in the outback, mind you) tinkering on his own car. Our wheel had flown off our 200 series Landcruiser and snapped 2 studs, we were in desperate need of some major repairs. He called another bloke in to help and got to work straight away. 2hrs later we had 2 new tyres, 5 new wheel studs/nuts and welded things up that got us through the next 7000kms of our trip home.
Not only did these guys just repair the necessary parts of the car, the young bloke hooked our camper back up & pressure blasted all of the mud from our car & camper from the Birdsville Track so we had a semi clean car when we left.
Nothing was a hassle at all & when it came to the bill........well its was WAY cheaper than what any metropolitan mechanic would charge.
So, if you're on the road and in need of repairs, new tyres or just need a service..... these are your GO-TO guys hands down!!
I can not recommend these honest outback mechanics enough, we are so appreciative for all they did for us!

Were super helpful, they fixed a puncture on our 4WD campervan and checked all wheels were secure, thanks & highly recommended!

We were stranded at Arkaroola with a suspension problem on our vehicle. RACQ/RAA arranged for Cookes to recover the vehicle and caravan to Copley, where they arranged for parts to be sourced from Melbourne, and fixed the vehicle (and did some needed welding on other parts while they were at it). Zac and his team were cheerful, competent and efficient. I would strongly recommend their services.

The young man who assisted us to tie down a car on a trailer was superb. He went out of his way to ensure the car was secured safely on the trailer. Excellent, cheerful and capable.

Had an unfortunate blowout in my car just outside of Arkaroola some 120kms away. They were the guys who the RAA used to get pick up my car and they got me and my car (with its funky sized performance tyre size) on the road in less than a business day. Very appreciative and impressed.

Zac fixed our caravan lead (it came loose on the Strzelecki Tk and got shredded) quickly and expertly, all the while having a great chat and providing some excellent advice.

Zac was absolutely amazing! We’d arranged for our new tyre to be replaced but it fell on a public holiday. He still came in and changed it for us, plus fixed our Anderson plug to the caravan and fixed our towing chains. All with the biggest smile ever. What a star we can’t thank him enough

Thanks to Zak from Cooke’s for outstanding and good humoured support when I broke my diff in Arkaroola. After driving 130km to where I was, he worked well after hours to get me on the road again before driving back to Copley in the dark. Many thanks Zak for your generosity and know how.

These guys are amazing. Zac worked on a Sunday before Anzac day to help us and another traveller.
We had tyre issues on the van and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Amazing service! Had to get my bullbar realigned after it rattled loose. Last minute job and the mechanic was able to fit me in and get it sorted. Would highly recommend!!
