Canopy Cafe

Very nice surprise that the cafe for the rain forest center had amazing food and coffee. So many options that it makes it hard to pick from. We had the pasta (hand made) and the Big Dog burger, the burger was a chef made mince and simply incredible. Come for the stunning walks on the rain forest, and then rest and have some amazing food at the cafe!

Dropped in today for lunch, ordered " salt and pepper squids " Yuuumm! The squid cooked perfectly! Not chewy but tender and tasty! Well done chef!!👍👍
The lady who took our orders was very polite and friendly. I know she looked tired but she tried to make the visitors felt welcome. 2 thumbs up for her👍👍. The waitress who brought us our meals was also nice and friendly ( we like that ). Everything just so nice. Highly recommend it👍👍👍

I did not have time for lunch today but my friend and I had morning tea. I had sticky date pudding with plenty of butterscotch sauce and cream. I will have to say it was one of one of the best I have tried with lots of sauce and so moist. Normally most places skimp on the sauce. Also had a pot of tea and I was pleased to see that this came with an extra jug of hot water so was able to.have 3 cups of tea. Congratulations

Lovely location right by the rainforest centre. You might spot some birds while you eat your food, but they’re all very friendly. Great food too and excellent service. Only thing is food takes a little while to make, but it sure is worth the wait!

Location, location, location. Yes this cafe has an amazing location over looking the rainforest just outside Dorrigo. The Coffee was great, smooth and hot. The food though basic cafe style, was well done and great portions.

Excellent cafe at reasonable prices for the location. The steak sandwich was yum and I strongly recommend the rice and pork dish. Milkshakes are a must have as well. Very friendly staff

Friendly and courteous staff, excellent service and good food.

This is a good cafe but even better is the shop next door with lots of local products and the sky walk is worth a visit

Though my friend and I didn't intend to stop here as we recently had our breakfast, we thought we should have lunch here "with a view".

Great decision. Overall the food served was really delicious. However, I would give 6 star rating (if I could) for the pasta of the day. It was mind blowing. Best pasta EVER.

This place was taken over a year ago, and is a lovely little cafe, it's quiet, the food is really not too expensive. I believe $18 for the burger I had which is very fair. The staff are friendly and the cakes are excellent!

Arrived at a busy lunch time and after a long drive, but the super friendly staff were very attentive and had us seated, fed and watered in no time. The food was simple but prepared with care and was delicious.

Came in for a coffee pre-hike, and a post-hike meal. Sensational staff, food was awesome. No complaints.

My wife and two sons are Chicken burger Experts and they said todays Chicken Burgers from Canopy Cafe are the BEST they've ever had! I had a BLT and it was awesome too! Highly recommend the Cafe and a walk while you are there.

5 star for location, this place is gorgeous. We had lunch here a few days ago and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had sweetcorn fritters with haloumi, my sister had sweet and sour stew which she loved .It's not fine dining, it has a simple rustic menu but it's well cooked and full of flavour. Loved it

Good coffee and one of the best chocolate brownie slices I have eaten recently.

Best fish and chips I’ve found in australia ! Great staff who are super friendly and very wheelchair accessible!

What a gem! A few steps through the gift shop and information area at Dorrigo National Park, this restaurant was a great find. While I started out only wanting coffee, I am glad I stayed for breakfast. The Spanish Breakfast eggs with spicy sauce was delicious. Coffee very good and service excellent. I’ll be back!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere amongst a breathtaking environment. Delightful staff and scrumptious food clearly made with equal parts skill and love! Absolutley deliscious, affordable and with very generous servings. The menu itself is impressive and well crafted. We enjoyed our time there throughly, would highly recommend and come again.
