Uyghur Restaurant

Good food and service. Restaurant is not big but there's a lot of people coming in to eat. It's a popular restaurant. Very nice skewers. Tasty goshnan. Fried potato and lamb ribs were so good. Only the egg tasted a bit burnt but otherwise, all the food were superb. Food portion are so big.

First time trying Uyghur cuisine, at the aptly named Uyghur Restaurant. Learnt the hard way that a booking is highly recommended because there are a limited number of tables as it is a small and no-frills restaurant.

The food was definitely worth the wait, though. We tried the shorpa (lamb soup), lamb kebabs, goshnan (pan-grilled lamb pie), and the spicy tofu. The dishes were a celebration of Chinese-style cooking with distinctly Middle Eastern flavours. They were all very, very delicious!

It is a bit crowded at peak hours and long waiting time. But the food is damn authentic and amazing! Have been to here 3 weeks in a roll!

We loved the fungi and lamb and lamb skewers. We were served very quickly on this Sunday night. Staff were very friendly and I definitely recommend for a good value night out! Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's worth it.

Think Sechuan with lamb and noodles, delicious, chewy noodles, I've never even heard of Ughyur food, now, I can't stop eating it!

The food here is "hidden treasure" as a friend put it. Service is fast even during high time. The place is a bit small, therefore it can feel crowded when it is a full house.

My son took us here as his mates enjoy visiting. Wholesome, hearty, home made food. I love the lightness of the pasta/noodles. No fussy stuff: just great, satisfying food.

Best uyghur restaurant in Adelaide. We used to come here years ago but now it is a bit far from our place so we come here whenever we can. We have tried other Uyghur restaurants but this is still the best for us.

Authentic uyghur cuisine from XinJiang. I've tried a few similar restaurants nearby. However, none came as close. You can see that its a very popular place by judging the number of patrons in the restaurant. For newcomers, I will recommend the big plate chicken, mutton kebabs and yoghurt drink. Very huge serving at affordable price. But please don't expect top notch and speedy service. You have to self collect your utensils. Please expect at least 30-45mins of waiting time. Please take note that your clothes will carry the food smell of the restaurant. So if you don't want your clothes to smell, please leave it in your car. And they only accept cash
