Treasury 1860

Beautiful unique hotel in the stunning old treasury building. If you love the grand feeling of old school hotels this is your place. The rooms are all different layouts with some beautiful little treasures that include balconies and terraces if you are lucky. The courtyard is beautiful and the bar has a great atmosphere. Food from the bar was good. Worth the price. Great beds and pillows but the couches are getting a little tired and an ice machine somewhere in the hotel would be a great addition.

Lovely dining experience! Staff were super friendly and the foot was amazing, the courtyard was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city streets. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We had won a competition to stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel in January 2022.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was great! I was a naughty Vegetarian and had Oysters. Definitely worth it! First time in 20 years!

wow... sometimes it pays not to go anywhere except where your staying and if that happens to be the adina treasury then your in luck because Treasury 1860 adjoins and both bar and restaurant are phenomenal! We wasted so much time trapsing around when we could have just been enjoying happy hour.. craft beers @ $7 ..cant go wrong. Nathan, barman and Adelaide guru will make you feel welcomed and point you in all the right directions ..no big push to dine onsite, so let me do it for him... we stayed with the bar menu, just because it was the mood we were in, but ate at a beautiful table out the back garden area. Started with creamed feta and the arancini. OMG. ...awesome. Seriously, could have that on a regular basis and still be wowed. Mains we went for the special pasta.. prawn linguine and the whiting. Just fresh snd beautiful. Well done chef! Service was awesome, wines were perfect, price was super reasonable ...thank you all, you made our night.

This place has a fantastic alfresco dining area makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Also the bar and the food is fantastic.

Excellent food and service. Well organised bar stock of beer, wine and spirits. Menu includes the basic Aussie fine dining of kangaroo, crocodile and beef.

What a beautiful place! Met friends for dinner, sat outside and had the best time. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the location is amazing. The outdoor restaurant seating was really nice and relaxing. Beautiful lighting too!

We held our 40th school reunion at the Treasury 1960 and had a fantastic night. We had a private function for 28 people and the venue was just perfect for this occasion. The manager, Anna, was accommodating, efficient and professional. She made sure that everything ran smoothly and ensured that the vegan in our group was catered for. Anna helped set up a presentation screen and a memorabilia table which added to the success of our evening. All of the staff were lovely and service was great. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful ambiance and the food was delicious. My steak was amazing and the sides were so fabulous. The duck fat potatoes were particularly scrumptious. I would definitely recommend The Treasury 1860 for any event and I will most certainly return again.

A wonderful venue! I've been here a couple of times, but I came today for an event that was part of Feast Festival 2022.
Super classy with excellent service. The bar staff and venue management always conduct themselves with professionalism and the selection of cocktails and wines is lovely - it's often very hard to choose what to get
As a historic building, the exterior archetecture of this venue is absolutely beautiful, while the interior is quite modern while still maintaining a sense of class and a unique sort of vintage feeling. The courtyard is also a wonderful little space for events, and it feels very cozy and warm!
Treasury 1860 is a lovely space for a good drink, excellent service, and/or any event that's on that interests you.

A stunning setting in the courtyard surrounded by the heritage listed buildings. Great staff who happily obliged in indulging me and my guests in a number of tasty cocktails.

Absolutely love this bar. Right in the heart of Adelaide in the old Treasury and Cabinet building which has been transformed into a top flight motel. The bar is beautifully sympathetic with the building and has a great range of alcoholic beverages, with an emphasis on South Australian wines and gins. If you don't want to sit inside, just walk through to the beautiful courtyard garden with a heritage era fountain splashing away to itself. There's plenty of shelter and it is a beautiful venue to sit, sip, socialise and relax
