Killarney Sundown Motel and Caravan Park

Have camped here over 2 weekends and found it very relaxing and enjoyable. The campgrounds were immaculate with the communal showers and toilets spotlessly clean. The camp kitchen has real character and everything that you need with all the utensils that you need to cook for yourselves. Will definitely visit again.

Having stayed in over 150 motels in the last 5 years, we feel we can give a true assessment. This motel is a stand-out.

I had a powered tentsite and my friends had a room. Both campsites and rooms were great - it's a great location very close to town, reasonably priced, has a really cool camp kitchen with everything you need, and great amenities (with music!). Everything is neat and tidy, with an original touch. The owners are very friendly and gave us great recommendations where to eat, too. Oh, and the wifi was really good, too. This is a gem!

Beautiful place. Nice big kitchen lots of quirky little touches. The place has got so much character. Bathrooms are probably the cleanest I have ever seen in all my years of camping. Can't wait to go back 🤗

Lovely camp spot with great owners. Perfect to explore the surrounding countryside. Stayed at the campground for 4 nights. The showers are nice and clean, and the kitchen has everything you need.

We stayed in the Caravan park and amenities were clean condition, very happy.

Hosts were lovely. Cabin was spotless, and so unique - loved it. Much better than many motel rooms I've stayed in. Has everything you need, including snacks, and a big TV!! The whole park was immaculate. Thanks for a great stay Claire.

This place was so lovely and clean. The beds were super comfortable and the nicest linen ever. Even the amenities for the campground were spotless. The couple that run it are so amazingly kind and wonderful to deal with also. It was so close to the Showgrounds and perfect for our needs. I would definitely recommend the Killarney Sundown Motel and Caravan Park. If I ever return to Killarney, I will be staying again, for sure. Thank you Clare for a great stay.

Likely the best caravan park we have ever been to, beautifully cared for grounds, all amenities updated and spotlessly clean.
The hosts of this caravan park obviously have a great sense of fun & humour, and it shows.
With the most welcoming, well setup and fitted out camp kitchen I have seen.
We (a group of 3 vehicles & 5 people) only stayed one night as we were passing through, but we will be back to stay longer in this great park and the lovely friendly host Claire.

Beautiful and clean
Nothing was a hassle with owner got into town 30mins prior to check in but owners opened office for us early
Water pressure was high and showers were better than home.
Camp kitchen was a highlight
Whole set up was amazing. It's a must to see and stay at when in town
Queen Mary Falls was beautiful and another must to see. Well worth the look.
Only disappointment was dump point was locked and we didn't want to bother owner early to open it.

Will be back to stay here again.

A great little motel. The rooms were clean and tidy and the service excellent. Parking in front of the room was a little tricky and would be difficult with a big car. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

We can not say one bad thing about our stay. My husband and I stayed in the cabin (mid June 2022) for 2 nights. We went away for a quick motorbike 3 day ride/getaway from Brisbane and everything from the cabin, to the property and especially the owners Claire and Callum, were nothing less than perfect. Great people in town as well, just over all a wonderful place and town to stay and we will be back, but at a warmer time of year. Mid winter was not a good time for a motorbike ride trip away, thankfully the cabin had full heating so it was lovely when inside.

We stayed at the park for my daughters birthday and it was amazing from the moment we got there until we left. Claire and Calum are second to none and made us feel like family. The park was clean and tidy and the facilities are top notch. The kids had so much room to run around and play and the other guests staying were all as accommodating as can be. We will definitely be back again! Thank you both so much

Absolutely loved the cabin I stayed in. So cosy and everything you need inside.
Lovely decor and very clean.
Owner/Manager was extremely welcoming and helpful with letting me know what was around the area.
Set amongst a beautiful and well maintained property close to town.
Will definitely be back another time.

Stayed at this caravan for the long weekend. The hosts Calam and Claire were so hospitable. Well kept, green and lush and toilet facility was so clean. On a cool night , they lit the fire in the Bundy bar/ camp kitchen which is a great spot to meet fellow travellers .Met fantastic people and we had a ball. Thank you so much, we will be back. Claire and Callum are fantastic hosts, their park is kept immaculately, the amenities are kept super clean. The camp kitchen is the place to be at 5pm for a chat and get together with other likeminded travellers. We enjoyed our 4 day immensely.

Great cabin, they really thought of everything. Free chocolates saved the day after a late nite arrival.

small park, 6 min walk to town. bathrooms and grounds immaculate. 5.00pm happy hour in quirky camp kitchen was a nice touch. town has a progressive feel. numerous parks gardens murals etc. suggest min 2 night stay as town and surrounding areas well worth it.
