Narrandera Medical Centre (Riverina GP Super Clinic)

Fortunately I have not been sick enough that often to go to the clinic. But when I have, it has been nothing but professional and friendly. People need to get out of this mindset that everything should be free. If we want to whinge about the cost of seeing a doctor, go live in the United States, you would know what has struck you. The big issue in this country is that some people go to the doctor with problems that are so minor they would self resolve, or they want a certificate for being off work with a "sickie" when not even sick. So do not complain if you have to wait a while. It is not the doctors fault. I am not suggesting everyone is "using" the system, but a lot of people seem to be continually "sick", yet not too sick to drink in pubs, or smoke themselves into an early grave. "A bit cruel" I hear some saying? Reality may offend I guess. As for the "free" medical services many younger people think they are entitled to...don't forget who funds this....the taxpayers. And 65 dollars to see the doctor, (unless you are a pensioner etc.), with a rebate from Medicare isn't too bad in this day and age.

Some really great staff, and comfortable seating. Although it's difficult ATM, I always thought a water machine like a lot of other clinics have would be good.

The Doctors seem to come and go at regular intervals. If making an appointment be ready to wait for over an hour plus.

Was given bad advice on how to clean ears then given anti fungal that is most definitely not for ears. And waited over 2 hrs 1 of which they had the doors locked because they where closed already. Definitely would not recommend.

Didn't warn you about the $65 fee. Healthcare is supposed to be free and affordable in Australia. Please communicate this upfront. Also didn't communicate the Medicare reimbursement just gave me a form to send off. Apparently there is another medical centre that bulk bills in narrendera.

Useless. Ive got an on going condition and ive heard nothing back from them. Went in there today, trying to see a doctor and i carnt see anyone untill next week and it the doctor who i dont want to see. I was told to go to the hospital... i thought thats what a medical centre was for, so you didnt have to go to the hospital unless it was an emergency. Must be 20 administration workers in there and no doctors.

Two words for the receptionist ''unapproachable & aloof''. I really do not look forward to being there, at least ALL the Doctors are just great.

Their negligence led to the painful death of my aunt. You should all be ashamed.

43 second phone conversation where I asked for a medical certificate. No interest or questions from the GP.
