Rating as one s no other lower rating. Called 4 times for a detailed invoice for claiming against health fund. Hold times excessive over 30 minutes wait. I called through and was number 24 at 9.30am no resolution in a timely manner. Original invoice was overcharged and refund took 2 weeks. Almost not worth pursuing the refund from heath fund. Appalled my time is wasted. Is this a tactic - no service so people just get frustrated and go away ?

Disgusting tactics of making a patient sign for medication prior to surgery without proper detailed explanation or showing the projected costs associated....only to be given the medication whilst still under the effect of the sedation post surgery....and then to be sent a letter of demand months later. What a joke....a true modern day rip off. This practice taints the good work Ashford Hospital does....

Sneaky tactics. Offer medication in hospital without any hint that you will need to pay for them. No mention at the time. We thought it was all part of the hospital service considering we also paid a substantial co-payment over and above private health insurance. We could have got this medication much cheaper through the normal pharmacy system. Rip off and sly tactics. Pity there is no zero star rating.
