As a first time mum I was quite scared at the thought of seeing a chiropractor for my 8 week old with a head preference issue.
The results have been wonderful, we are seeing a much happier and settled baby.

Dr Richard was fantastic with my kids (ages 9 and 10) and explaining what was happening throughout the sessions. My youngest especially is finally free of the abdominal pain she’d been experiencing for years and both daughters posture and range of motion have improved dramatically. Dr Richard takes a holistic lifestyle approach by providing daily exercises and healthy habits to do at home and in the workplace with video instructions that are easy to follow. I have found Dr Richard to be very knowledgeable and very thorough in his assessments and care plan. By following my care plan I have greatly improved my flexibility, joint range of motion and spine health after some significant injuries. I would highly recommend Dr Richard as a chiropractor.

Sought treatment for our 6-7 month old as she was holding her head to one side and had quite flat head on the back to the other side.
Somewhat sceptical to start (who isn’t with their little baby), but Richard was very knowledgeable and gave excellent explanations so I felt she was in safe hands from start to finish. So grateful to feel proactive again! Highly recommended.

Richard helped our baby daughter (who was 4 months old at her first visit) with her neck and postural asymmetry, limited range of motion and discomfort more than I could have ever expected. He is pleasant, professional, and very thorough and specific in his assessment and treatment. There was a noticable improvement after the first visit and within weeks she was a different baby. Our son initially went to Sure Start at just over 8 weeks, the first impression we got of Richard from Sure Start was his great demeanour and calming nature, especially with the children. Our son seemed so relaxed and at ease, even when being put in positions quite foreign to him at the time. Richard was very thorough and upfront about what the issue may be, what he could improve on, what would work out with time and what work needed to be done on our side with exercises. Sure Start has been a god send for everyone in our family and we would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a child with any chiropractic issues!

As a first time Mum I was very nervous about chiropractic treatment of my 4 month old baby, but after the initial consult I felt my son was very much in safe hands and I felt no pressure to start treatment I actual was very excited to start treatment for my son.

At first, I am reluctant going to a chiropractor because of the horrible stories I have heard. But Richard proved me otherwise! Richard really listened to me and understood my health requirements and worked out with how to make me better. The exercises we've done really made me confident in doing everyday work and stuff. After one treatment with Richard my two-month old daughter slept peacefully in the car on the five-minute drive home - the first time she had ever done so (even on much longer drives). That was five years ago, and since then our whole family has benefited greatly from Richard's knowledge, expertise and skill. I had had upper back pain for more than fifteen years that had not responded to other treatments (physio, pilates, rolfing, bowen, Feldenkrais - I'd tried them all) - and quarterly sessions with Richard has literally seen all back pain disappear. I can't recommend him highly enough.
