Rex Hotel

Harry in the front car was a wealth of knowledge. And for a younger person than I he seemed fairly well up to date with the history of previous bar flies. We ordered from the meal and drink special list which was unbelievable value and fantastic taste. Also the staff and another manager I spoke with in the gaming room were very polite and friendly. All in all was a great mid week lunch with mum. Keep up the good work

Handy location only being 5 mins or so from the airport by car, very pleasant check in (although make sure you go in the right door otherwise you have to weave through the bar areas - its on the left side of the building as you look at the hotel from the road), very clean rooms and obviously recently renovated bathrooms. Also pretty good value for money i would say.

Very reasonably priced and meals are very delicious. I love the fact that drinks are free when your playing pokies. I have never heard of this at any other venue I have been to but however I am not a gambler. I just did it to waste time as I had to wait until the kitchen opened at 12.

Went to the newly furnished dining room last and had a wonderful evening. Our waiter Steven was so attentive and personable ,he really made us feel welcome. The new menu is perfect for the warmer weather and Steven patiently explained the new ordering system which I was expecting to be harder than it actually is !
Our steaks were perfectly cooked, 1 rare and 1m/r which is sometimes a hit or miss when dining elsewhere so compliments to the chef.
Had a flutter in the new gaming room to round off a perfect evening with a little win.
We'll be back !!

Decent pub food, nice menu complimented with a nice specials list for the day, so plenty to choose from. Meals were hot and came out quickly even with a full bistro. Will definitely be back

Always loved the Rex for the amazing atmosphere they created when UFC was on. But just the bottle shop specially I need to commend. Didn’t catch his name; but he knows my dog, gives her a treat, and then when she wasn’t allowed treats due to an illness remembered her history and wished her well.

stayed here over the weekend, room was very neat and clean. also had dinner in the restaurant, services was very friendly and food was great. would 100% recommend!

Evening meal booked with a large group of friends. Food is always lovely.

The hotel has been renovated since I was there last. Looks good, meals, price & service was very good.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal recently, new menu with variety and a few things different, friendly staff and a fantastic Reno, loved the booths....

Meals were delicious, bed was comfortable, rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Just a great place, caters for all, wicked location....

We had a large group lunch. About 20 of us. I had salt and pepper squid, excellent as usual. No complaints from anyone in the group.

This time we were able to use the private room which was nice. Service was very good. We will return.

Great Pub. Has recently gone a big kitchen upgrade and the new menu is fire 🔥. Definitely recommend a pint and a feed here

Newly renovated dining room and the food was good!

Good pub, good grub. Fantastic service. Mel is an absolute gem and the main reason I keep coming back.

Also the pool tables are worth a mention.
