Wow! Love it here. Owner is fantastic and very switched on about dietary requirements. Plenty of food for all and she goes above and beyond to make sure it’s allergy friendly. Great little shop, well priced. Was able to pick up a children’s book by a local author too which was a bonus.

The perfect little stop on our way back home to Melbourne after a few days in the Grampians.
Such a warm friendly welcome by staff and a great little deck out the front to wait for our coffees and bagels.
Coffee was great and the bagels were the light breakfast the doctor ordered.

We have been to so many cafes for breakfast, lunches and brunches, but this is the only one that do not serve your usual cafe fare of eggs sausages and sourdough. Instead they create innovative local produce inspired food like turkish rolls, veggie burgers and omelettes that taste really good. A must visit when you are around the area. It was soooo good that we kept going back for three days in a row! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming ❤❤

I've passed by the Moyston General Store many times and always found the billowing flags and outdoor setting appealing. But I'm on a mission to get to Halls Gap so haven't stopped.
Today I stopped and so glad I did.
Although I was only after a coffee, it was nice to see the indoors and actually walk out onto the deck and see the view from the other side. What a gorgeous place to sit with a cuppa or have a meal. The view is nice and a lovely feeling of serenity.
The menu looks great with something for everyone, including items you wouldn't see in a mainstream trendy Melbourne cafe.
Liked the local artwork and handicrafts on display plus the bags of local produce for sale.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
Map at the side of the cafe gives you some idea of where you are in the district and to The Grampians.
Plenty of takeaway food, drinks, snacks etc. available as well.
This is definitely a good spot to stop and well worth making it a 'go to' place on your way to and from Halls Gap.
Notes: wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. Good parking at the side of the cafe.

Easily the best coffee in the area. Lovely people invested in the local community. Highly recommend. (Secretly having g fantasies about buying the business to keep their legacy going)

Had an amazing Persian lunch, beautiful food presentation! Menu has a great mix of Australian & Persian food. The view sitting on the deck was gorgeous and relaxing! Particularly liked the artworks showcased from artists in the region, and locally produced goodies!

Surprisingly great service and good food. And according to others in my party they prepared excellent coffee. We were so impressed we returned for breakfast on our return trip. Excellent bacon and egg burger!!! And a real pot of tea with real tea!!! Now you don’t get that anywhere these days but you do here. I will definitely return. Great job ladies. Really enjoyed it.

Awesome place to stop for a coffee and lunch. We had the chicken wrap! OMG it's so good. Give this place a go. Clean toilets aswell.

Love this place so much have stopped a few times when heading back to Melbourne from Halls Gap. Delicious frittata, chai coffee & GF rhubarb and apple crumble tart… whats not to love. Gorgeous general store with local crafts, beer, wine & more!

Loved eating at the Moyston General store for breakky. The staff are so lovely and very welcoming. The food was simple, yet well cooked and delicious!

PS. They have all of the alternative milks as well which is definitely a plus & GF optional.

What a delightful find! Beautiful sitting outside on the deck. Good selection of yummy looking food. We had delicious chicken and coleslaw rolls (gluten free no problem) and good coffee. Very friendly staff. Thank you

Stopped in for a coffee and a pie to fuel up before a long drive back to Melbourne from the Grampians. The staff were warm and friendly on a fresh Sunday morning. The pie and sausage roll were just what we needed. The coffee. Extra hot to combat the cold. Once it had served as a hand warmer. I was expecting caffeine. But was Smiling all the way home with the nicest long black in a long while.

Will defs be dropping in for a feed next time we are heading through. Thanks 🙏☕

Where do I start? Warm, welcoming, and one of the best coffees I have ever had. I wish I was hungry because the sandwiches looked delicious. I also really liked the range and price of the items in the store.
It’s a shame I live so far away because I would love to go regularly.

You won’t find better coffee anywhere. Great food with a mix of traditional Persian food and old country Australian favourites. Staff are fantastic and friendly and there’s no better spot on a sunny day than the deck to sit and watch the world go by.
