We stayed the weekend before the Australia Day weekend and were very surprised how few people were there.
It is magnificent at present. Beautiful water (almost full) the grass is green (exceptional for this time of year) oodles of non powered sites all around the lake (powered sites are limited) so get your butt out to this beautiful area of the world.
The grass at this time of the year is usually not green (more like brown)
The toilet/bathrooms are very nice and well maintained (probably could do with the exhaust fans being cleaned) and the bookin procedure at the site was no problem.
There are enough boat ramps to keep the boaties happy.
The cabins look ok.
I had 2 coffee's from the kiosk which were ok (I like mine a bit stronger)
All in all, we had a great weekend.
Thank you.

We went when the park was very quiet and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so peaceful and worth the 4hr drive from Sydney. It was picture perfect. The banyande cabins are sufficiently equipped and well insulated even tho it was 4° outside it was warm inside. Hot water was pretty instant . Highly recommend

I stayed here as attending a wedding at Bigga but if you want to do absolutely nothing this is for you.People use the lake for water skiing and fishing. There is a limited kiosk but hopefully in high season opened more regularly .I stayed in the House on the Hill easy walking distance to lake and what is referred to as the wildlife sanctuary I think it is where the kangaroos go during the day .I also think not alot of people walk out to this point.Another pleasant walk is down by the river sometimes table and chairs to rest.Else not much to do.Cabin was self contained complete with washing machine kettle cups etc but no toaster.Bed was comfortable BBQ on porch provided .So all you need to bring is food. There is a walking trail to Decca Hill but was ill-equipped for the trek maybe next time .I can recommend this place for solitude.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. All the staff are super friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your time away.
We camped at Three Tree Point and enjoyed the stunning mountain views and amazing sunsets. The following week we moved to Cypress Point to enjoy a more secluded camping experience, surrounded by kangaroos and wild goats playing in the hills beyond. The toilet facilities are clean and tidy, there's plenty of rubbish bins in place to keep your camp tidy and plenty of space to have alot of room to yourself. The water was glassy and picture prefect and if you have a boat there is days of exploring up your sleeve and plenty of fish to catch.

It's such a nice country park.
Lots of roos and even saw a big goanna as well as catching fish straight of the bank.
Plenty of room for kids to ride bikes around.
Take away shop is also handy for some icecream or hot chips.

This spot is an absolute gem. Beautiful scenery, nice hot showers to wash the campfire smoke off and the best part is dogs are welcome! Unpowered camping sites are spacious and you can set up out of close range of other campers if privacy is what you’re after. Staff at reception were lovely and helpful! There’s even a dog exercise area. Coming from Sydney we were sceptical about it being worth the trip over June long weekend but it was beyond brilliant. We came for a relaxing weekend away in the country with our dog and that’s exactly what we got.
Thank you!

An awesome place to camp with the family and fur baby. You cannt beat sitting around a camp fire at nights next to a beautiful lake. The park is massive and has all the amenities and staff are great.

Plenty of space to set up camp. Free hot showers and toilets. Lots of wildlife to keep you entertained. Good fishing too. Unfortunately park management have decided that fuel availability and Jerry cans for fuel now pose a risk to park visitors and onsite van owners. Nearest fuel to Grabine is 80 minute round trip. It seems park management have no respect or trust for long term visitors or new visitors to ban fuel containers that up until now have posed no threat to public safety. Very dissapointed.
Reflections have now I opened a refuelling point opposite the kiosk, however I believe fuel containers are still banned

Good place for fishing. If you do not like noisy companies and crowds of vacationers - you are here. Beautiful nature around, lots of wild animals.

Perfect spot, the area is huge and has got great facilities. And now, the fuel station is up and running even better. More of the road in has been fixed but still needs more attention.
