The Moorings at Metung

We stayed in one of the luxury motel rooms for a few nights, and were really happy with everything. The onsite laundry was handy, rooms were comfy and clean, bathtub was big enough for two fairly tall people and customer service was top notch. We also particularly appreciated that it was in a quieter area that wasn't as family-oriented as Lakes Entrance, which suited the relaxed stay we were after. A particular thank you to the caretaker on duty who sorted out posting some belongings we left behind back to us! We'll happily stay here again next time we're in the region.

Just spent 3 nights there with my partner in a water front apartment. Very clean, great views, very relaxing. Short stroll to the hotel for dinner. Absolutely loved it. Will be back again for sure.

Arrived to be greeted by Jim who was both friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Fantastic facilities both within and the grounds. Indoor & outdoor pools as well as a spa. Within walking distance of eateries. Exceptional accommodation.

Metung is a lovely location.

As always could not have been happier! Have stayed here over the years many times the location and facilities are outstanding! The staff are wonderful and the views are brilliant. Spent another 3 amazing nights last week the only regret is it could not have been longer!

Second time to stay in this beautiful accommodation overlooking the jetty and lake. Clean and comfortable. Will definitely be going back soon!

All the rooms get planned parking and Barbara was amazing. She can tell you where to visit and how to spend your day. It’s just 20 min from the lakes entrance which will make it easy for visiting the lakes.

Excellent place to stay if you are heading to Metung. We travelled as a family of 4 and booked to stay in a 2 bedroom Bancroft bay apartment. The apartments are exceptionally maintained and clean. Location is spectacular with water front views. It is also within a stone's throw to the general store, bakery and iconic Metung Hotel. Our family had a fantastic time.

Absolutely beautiful place on the water went fishing there every morning caught a few decent sized fish. People who run the place are really nice and recommend activities and stuff to do.

Very nice location right in Bancroft Bay. The beds and room was comfortable and the shower good. Would recommend!

We stayed in a studio room and it was lovely and clean with everything you need for a weekend away. Location of The Moorings is the best! This is our 3rd visit and will be back again.

We stayed at Moorings at Metung, 2 bedroom apartment waterfront, for 1 night. The room is quite clean and the view is amazing. A small supermarket is close to the hotel. U can find necessary things such as egg, milk, bread and well as alcohols in the store. Kitchen in the apartment is fully equipped. U can find all you need to make a great meal for the whole family. Nice experience. Will definitely visit again in the future.

Stayed one night, the room was clean and very comfortable. Barbara was lovely and very helpful. We will be back.

What a wonderful place to stay, this is our second time at The Moorings and we have nothing but compliments. The rooms are spacious, bright and have everything you need. What stands out most are the friendly staff and also the rooms are spotlessly clean! We try to stay in one of the units overlooking the boardwalk and water, what a pleasant way to start the day with that view! Such an easy stroll to the shops and hotel. We are always sad to leave. One thing that could be added, just a thought, is a coffee machine in the room, a nice touch that would be for us coffee drinkers. We actually took our own but it would be a nice addition. We shall see you next year for sure.

Lovely clean quiet room and bed very comfy. Indoor heated pool and spa is great. There is also an outdoor pool. There are pool towels supplied at Reception as well. Wi-fi is free and we had great coverage.

Beautiful location, easy check in , super comfy beds, huge rooms, and even has its own private berth. Rooms are very clean. In room Spa is more like a bath as jets are weak. Still nice though. Love this place

Great location, slightly away from the busy Lakes Entrance. Rooms were large and clean. Did not feel like we were staying in a motel room at all!

Fabulous spot to stay and explore the local region. The view is outstanding. Very clean and spacious apartment with everything you need to cater for yourself.
